TODAY IS WORLD'S MALARIA DAY
There's no better time to learn more about malaria
oya come here Chika and Oluwatobi gist de!
ITS NOT ALWAYS MALARIA 🦟 😷 ( Part one)
(Some people are popping antimalaria capsules as though it were birth control pills💊)
As I promised the last time, let's talk about diseases that have similar symptoms with malaria so we don't get confused!
it let's break it down.
Yes for a fact in Nigeria most times when we start feeling under the weather, malaria is the next thing in our mind and literally 99%of the time we could be right ... but what if it's wrong 😔 that 1% has taken many lives 🤦 neglecting what's actually wrong and treating malaria over and over again because the illness presents with "headache, fever, fatigue, loss of appetite and general malaise".
Most times taking a malaria, tyfoid and Full blood count test is more important that any treatment you can get.
I know it's not a habit for us, but communicating with a health professional and getting prescription is a better option than self medication, what worked for Oluwatobi might not work for Chika, also what did the job in April may not do the same in June ( 🙈 see what I did there "April, May and June" 😁).
ohh I have so much to say guys 🤦
let's stop here, in part two we will learn about these diseases that might disguise them selves as malaria.
share this with some one and save a life❤️
