💢 Why You Shouldn’t Ignore Period Pain 💢
(Because “normal” pain isn’t supposed to control your life)
Cramps are common — but severe, persistent, or worsening period pain is your body’s way of saying something isn’t right.
Let’s talk about what it might really mean 👇
🚩 1️⃣ Endometriosis
Tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside it — causing severe pain, heavy bleeding, and infertility.
🩺 Diagnosis often delayed for years — don’t ignore it!
🚩 2️⃣ Adenomyosis
When uterine tissue grows into the muscle wall of the uterus, it can make periods long, heavy, and excruciating.
🚩 3️⃣ Fibroids
Benign growths in the uterus that cause painful cramps, bloating, and pressure — especially during periods.
🚩 4️⃣ Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID)
Infection in the reproductive organs that can cause chronic pelvic pain and fertility issues if untreated.
🚩 5️⃣ Hormonal Imbalance
Too much estrogen or prostaglandin activity can make cramps worse — often linked with stress, diet, or PCOS.
