A simple "thank you" can inspire a lifetime of service. We sincerely appreciate this thoughtful gesture of gratitude to Dr. Muhammad Suleiman (SMO) and the entire team at Hadejia General Hospital for their professionalism, compassion, and dedication to safe motherhood. We encourage more patients and families to recognize and appreciate the sacrifices of our healthcare workers, whose commitment often goes beyond the call of duty. Positive feedback motivates excellence and reminds our frontline heroes that their efforts truly make a difference.

A husband whose wife was admitted for delivery at Hadejia General Hospital has written a letter of appreciation to Dr. Muhammad Suleiman (SMO), who performed her Caesarean section (C-section), as well as to the management of Hadejia General Hospital, expressing his heartfelt gratitude for the warm reception and excellent care his wife received throughout her treatment.

In his message, he commended the professionalism, dedication, and compassionate care shown by the medical team, noting that the experience exceeded his expectations.

He concluded by extending his sincere appreciation to the Executive Governor of Jigawa State, Malam Umar A. Namadi, FCA, for providing free medications and free Caesarean section (theatre) services for all pregnant women in the state, describing the initiative as a life-saving intervention that has brought relief to many families.

Likitocin Jigawa Sun Buƙaci Ƙarin Tallafi Domin Ƙarfafa Ayyukan Kiwon Lafiya

Ƙungiyar Likitocin Najeriya (NMA), reshen Jihar Jigawa, ta buƙaci gwamnatin jihar da ta samar da ƙarin tallafi ga likitoci, ciki har da rangwamen haraji, sassaucin kuɗaɗen shiga, gidaje masu araha da inganta jin daɗinsu domin ƙarfafa harkar kiwon lafiya a jihar.

An bayyana wannan buƙata ne yayin Taron Kimiyya da Babban Taron Shekara-shekara na ƙungiyar da aka gudanar a Dutse, inda likitoci sama da 200 s**a tattauna hanyoyin inganta ayyukan kiwon lafiya a faɗin jihar.

Shugaban ƙungiyar, Dr. Haruna Usman, ya ce taron na shekara-shekara na bai wa likitoci damar nazarin ci gaban da aka samu, musayar ilimi da kuma tattauna sabbin dabarun inganta kula da marasa lafiya.

Ya bayyana cewa a halin yanzu Jigawa na da likitoci sama da 200, yana mai cewa jihar ta kauce wa matsalar ƙauracewar likitoci zuwa ƙasashen waje da ta addabi sassa da dama na ƙasar, sakamakon matakan da gwamnati ta ɗauka wajen inganta walwalarsu. Sai dai ya jaddada cewa har yanzu ana buƙatar ƙarin tallafi domin ci gaba da riƙe ƙwararrun likitoci tare da jawo ƙarin masana.

Taron mai taken "Haɓaka Ayyukan Kiwon Lafiya Masu Dogaro da Shaidu a Jihar Jigawa Ta Hanyar Ƙarfafa Binciken Lafiya", ya samu gabatarwar fitattun ƙwararrun likitoci.

An tattauna batutuwa da s**a haɗa da inganta binciken lafiya, hanyoyin kariya daga bugun jini (Stroke), ƙarfafa ayyukan asibiti da kuma inganta kula da marasa lafiya a yankunan karkara da birane.

Da yake wakiltar Kwamishinan Lafiya, Daraktan Ayyukan Asibitoci, Dr. Mahmood Abdulwahab, ya ce gwamnatin Jigawa na ci gaba da jajircewa wajen faɗaɗa samar da ingantattun ayyukan kiwon lafiya.

Ya bayyana cewa gwamnati na aiwatar da manyan ayyuka da s**a haɗa da gina cibiyar binciken cututtuka ta zamani a Dutse, masana'antar samar da iskar oxygen ta lafiya, cibiyoyin lafiya na musamman da kuma faɗaɗa cibiyoyin kula da lafiya na matakin farko a dukkan mazabu.

Ya kuma ce gwamnati na zuba jari wajen horas da ma'aikatan lafiya tare da ɗaukar nauyin 'yan asalin Jigawa karatun likitanci da sauran fannonin kiwon lafiya domin magance ƙarancin ƙwararrun ma'aikata a nan gaba.

An kammala taron ne da bayar da lambobin yabo ga fitattun likitoci bisa gudummawar da s**a bayar wajen inganta ayyukan kiwon lafiya, yayin da mahalarta taron s**a sake jaddada aniyarsu ta bunƙasa ayyukan lafiya masu dogaro da bincike da hujjoji domin amfanin al'ummar Jihar Jigawa.

2026 SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE, ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING & ELECTIONS 2026.

🚨 Stroke is becoming a major public health challenge in Jigawa State. Recent data shows 15–20 new stroke admissions every week in a tertiary hospital of Jigawa State, underscoring the urgent need to strengthen prevention, early recognition, and evidence-based management.

In response to this growing burden, the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Jigawa State Branch, has chosen a highly relevant sub-theme for its 2026 Scientific Conference, Annual General Meeting, and Elections—bringing together experts and healthcare professionals to discuss practical solutions for improving stroke care across the state.

Beyond the scientific sessions, the AGM will mark the beginning of a new leadership era as members elect the next State Officers' Committee to steer the Association into the future.
