Sickle Cell association Dutsin-ma Disease is not a crime, nor is it something to be ashamed of. We call on parents, teachers, community leaders, and young people to continue creating awareness about the importance of genotype testing before marriage and providing proper care for pregnant women living with Sickle Cell Disease.
Conclusion
A pregnant woman living with Sickle Cell Disease can give birth to a healthy baby if she follows medical advice and attends regular antenatal check-ups. Let us all work together to educate our communities and help reduce the spread of Sickle Cell Disease in our society.
