STUDENTS' SENSITIZATION CAMPAIGN: SAY NO TO VOTE BUYING
Today, the students of Alare College of Health and Management Sciences, Ejigbo, successfully carried out a public sensitization campaign on the theme "Say No to Vote Buying."
The campaign commenced from the college campus and proceeded through major locations within Ejigbo, including the Ibadan Motor Park, where transport workers and commuters were enlightened on the dangers of vote buying. The team also engaged businessmen and businesswomen, motorcycle riders (Okada operators), and paid a courtesy visit to the palace of His Royal Majesty, the Ogiyan of Ejigbo, where the campaign message was warmly received.
The sensitization continued with a visit to the Chief Imam of Ejigbo, followed by an awareness session with market women at Ogiyan Market. The students also visited the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ejigbo Unit, where officers commended the initiative and encouraged civic responsibility.
The campaign ended back at the college campus after successfully reaching different groups within the community with the message that every vote is precious and should never be exchanged for money or material gifts.
Together, let us build a society where integrity, accountability, and credible elections prevail.
Your Vote is Your Voice. Don't Sell It. Protect It.
