No gender is exempted from diabetes? 🤭

Diabetes have different symptoms we should look out for; you definitely can’t miss any of the symptoms outlined below 📝

• Increased thirst
• Frequent urination
• Extreme hunger
• Unexplained weight loss
• Presence of ketones in the urine (ketones are a byproduct of the breakdown of muscle and fat that happens when there's not enough available insulin)
• Fatigue
• Irritability
• Blurred vision
• Slow-healing sores
• Frequent infections, such as gums or skin infections and vaginal infections

Get your groove back on; stress isn’t an illness, it’s a reaction to how you challenge your body to work.
You definitely won’t like to be in stage 4 so to avoid sitting at home all week; listen to the Alarm stage from now!

Working hard should not be confused with overworking at the expense of relationships and physical health.

Taking steps to manage stress.
1. Take care of yourself
i. Eat healthy, well-balanced meals.
ii. Exercise on a regular basis.
iii. Get plenty of sleep.
iv. Give yourself a break if you feel stressed out.

2. Talk to others- Share your problems and how you are feeling and coping with a parent, friend, counselor, doctor 🥼

3. Avoid drugs and alcohol- These may seem to help, but they can create additional problems and increase the stress you are already feeling.

4. Take a break to recharge - If news events are causing your stress, take a break from listening or watching the news.

5. Recognize when you need more help- If the problems continues or you can’t take it anymore you can talk to a Pharmacist at F&T Pharmacy.
