FRSC CORPS MARSHAL REWARDS EXEMPLARY PERSONNEL, REINFORCES CULTURE OF INTEGRITY AND PROFESSIONAL EXCELLENCE

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has once again reaffirmed its commitment to integrity, transparency, and professionalism as the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, mni, formally recognised and rewarded outstanding personnel whose conduct continues to reflect the highest ideals of public service.

At a brief but impactful ceremony, the Corps Marshal presented commendation letters and cash rewards to a select group of officers and marshals whose consistent dedication to ethical standards has distinguished them in the course of their duties.

In the words of the Corps Marshal, "the honourees, drawn from operational commands across the country, were celebrated not merely for isolated acts, but for a sustained culture of discipline, accountability, and professional excellence that aligns with the Corps’ core values" he added.

Speaking further during the presentation, the Corps Marshal emphasised that "the gesture forms part of a deliberate institutional framework designed to motivate personnel, strengthen public trust, and reinforce the Corps’ zero-tolerance stance on unethical conduct"

He noted that integrity remains the cornerstone of effective law enforcement and public safety administration, adding that the FRSC will continue to identify, encourage, and reward behaviours that elevate the image of the Corps. This recognition in his words is a celebration of who we are as an organisation and what we stand for.

The Corps Marshal further added that across FRSC, thousands of Officers and Marshals carry out their responsibilities daily with honour, courage, and a deep sense of duty. "Today’s award highlights that enduring culture and serves as a reminder that integrity is both expected and appreciated" the Corps Marshal to also said.

He further stressed that the initiative is not only about recognition but also about inspiration—encouraging all personnel to remain steadfast in upholding the values that define the Corps.

In the same vein, he reaffirmed Management’s commitment to providing the right environment, leadership, and incentives that will continue to drive ethical conduct and operational excellence at all levels.

This gesture, amongst other things re-echoes the blazing reality that the Federal Road Safety Corps remains resolute in its mission to build a safer motoring environment while sustaining a workforce anchored on discipline, transparency, and service to humanity.

Integrity, Transparency & Honour — The True Mark of Leadership
A true leader is not known by power, but by character. The FRSC Boss continues to demonstrate that leadership is built on integrity, transparency, and honour.
When integrity leads, trust follows.
When transparency guides decisions, accountability grows.
And when honour defines service, the people are always protected.
The commitment to uphold these values reminds us that public service is not just a duty — it is a responsibility to serve with honesty and dignity.
Let us celebrate leadership that stands for truth, discipline, and accountability.

How road safety men saved me from being turned to sacrifice by okada riders in Ejigbo today 😭

All I heard was GBAM
Next thing, somebody was already on the ground bleeding.

What happened?

I was leaving Ejigbo Baptist High School after a program, heading to Osogbo. As I entered the Osogbo lane, I heard a strange sound from the engine . I gently swerved and parked jeje. Switched off my engine. Listened again.

Nothing.
As an incoming olori, I reached for my wetlips to apply…
Gbbam was all I heard from behind.

Before I could say Jack, about 20 okada had parked around me like it was a meeting. They were shouting. One opened my car door and was screaming that they should put the injured man inside my car.

In the blink of an eye, they became 50 people.

They were shouting at me, pointing at me, and doing rehearsal for beating me. That was when I officially started crying... I was scared.

Why was I crying? Because why do people lie like this for God’s sake?? God I hate lying.. Say the truth now..

Why would they all lie?
How did they get the cooperation in lying?

My car was parked peacefully, jeje, he hit me from behind..

This guy on high speed hit my car from behind and they flipped the whole story on my head 😭

I kept shouting, My car was parked! He hit me!
But their voices already over shadowed mine.

One person started shouting, Where is her bag?
Another, Where is her phone?
Ahhh 🙆‍♀️

Then suddenly…
Road Safety men appeared like angels without wings.
That was when my crying moved from gear 1 to gear 10 😭😭😭
I was explaining with tears....
How can somebody hit me from behind and you people are lying like this??

In short, these men in uniform saved me today.
They SAVED ME. 😭

They took him to the hospital...
They even escorted me from Ejigbo to Ara Junction before turning back.
Ejigbo Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, led by Mr. Dada, thank you so much 🙏

You people are humans with conscience.
Adebiyi Stephen , please help me thank them properly.

My first time in Ejigbo… and I met premium nonsense...

To the okada unit leader of Ejigbo, your men displayed exactly who you are. Their animalistic behaviour did full parade today.... ☹️

Oh, did I mention I still dropped ₦10,000 as part of the animal treatment? 😭
