Monday again. And somehow, you're already carrying last week.
The unfinished conversation. The meeting that left you feeling small. The night you couldn't sleep but couldn't explain why. You packed all of it into this new week like it was just extra luggage you had to bring along.
But here's what nobody says enough: a new week is not automatically a fresh start just because the calendar changed. Your mind doesn't reset at midnight. Your nervous system doesn't get a Monday morning reboot.
What actually helps is pausing long enough to ask yourself a few honest questions before the week swallows you whole.
• What drained me most last week, and is it still sitting with me?
• Am I starting this week from rest or from survival mode?
• What is one thing I can protect this week, even if everything else gets busy?
These are not soft questions. They are the kind of questions that, when you answer them honestly, stop you from running on empty for another seven days without realizing it.
Mental wellness is not something you achieve once and keep. It is something you tend to, quietly, consistently, even on the Mondays when you'd rather just push through.
So before the week takes over, take five minutes for yourself. Not to be productive. Just to check in.
You deserve that, at the start of every week.
💙 Save this for the Mondays when you need a reminder.
