Tzolis on his Arsenal start:
— How are you finding life in London?
🗣️ Christos Tzolis: “Thank you, thank you very much. Yes, actually it’s a very nice start with Arsenal. I feel very comfortable there, with the players inside the team and outside as well.
“It’s a good start for us in the Premier League, and of course the level is different, and so far I’m enjoying my time there very much.”
Tzolis on Arteta’s role for him:
— Is your role at Arsenal similar to the one you had at Brugge?
🗣️ Tzolis: “Honestly, there aren’t many differences. I’m almost playing the same way I was playing here at Brugge. And the attacking side of Arsenal’s and Brugge’s style of play is quite similar, so I didn’t have to change many things.”
Tzolis on his FPL points:
— Did you get the three points for the assist in Fantasy?
🗣️ Tzolis: “I got 3 points for the assist, one point for the clean sheet, and two points because of the amount of minutes, so 6 points. And I had myself as captain!”

— Do you want to face Club Brugge in the Champions League?
🗣️ Tzolis: “I’m waiting for this day! I think the draw is on August 28th, and I really, really hope to play against Brugge.
I really hope we get a game against them, and I’ll definitely enjoy seeing my former teammates and my former team. So I really hope to play against Club Brugge.”
Tzolis on Arsenal’s set-pieces:
— Can you get 25 assists from set-pieces this season?
🗣️ Tzolis: “I’m not the only one taking the corners! So far, sometimes I take corners or free-kicks, but not as much as I did at Brugge.”
Tzolis on Arsenal’s set-piece threat:
— Arsenal are known for their set-piece expertise. What do you think?
🗣️ Tzolis: “Yes, but these things help the team win games. Every detail matters, and I think when you play at the highest level you have to work on the smallest details. And set-pieces are currently a weapon for any team.
We work on them a lot, and that’s what made Arsenal score, for example, 25 goals in the league last season. It’s an opportunity to get extra points, and in the end it can help you win the league.”
