"Can your fertility and hormonal imbalance tea cure PID?"
I get this question a lot whenever I post about our fertility and hormonal imbalance tea.
The simple answer is: Hormonal imbalance and PID are not the same thing.
Many people assume every fertility problem is caused by hormones, but that's not always true.
Hormonal imbalance affects things like ovulation, irregular periods, PCOS, and certain fertility challenges. These require an approach that supports hormonal balance.
PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease), on the other hand, is an infection of the female reproductive organs. It is commonly caused by bacteria and needs proper medical diagnosis and treatment. If left untreated, PID can damage the fallopian tubes and affect fertility.
If you have PID, the priority should be:
✔️ Get the infection properly treated as advised by a qualified healthcare professional.
✔️ Support your immune system with a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.
✔️ Rebuild your gut and vaginal microbiome by including probiotic-rich foods or an appropriate probiotic supplement if recommended.
Once the infection has been treated, you can then focus on restoring your reproductive health and addressing any hormonal issues that may still be present.
The right treatment depends on the right diagnosis. Not every fertility challenge is hormonal, and not every pelvic pain is an infection.
Always find out the root cause before starting any treatment.
