We wrapped up the World breastfeeding week with a hospital symposium where we evaluated our interventions, updated ourselves on the new database, trends, advantages and everything that involves Breast milk and Breastfeeding.

It is of note that Lagos state is doing significantly well for the Breastfeeding Campaign as we achieved a 57.4% in exclusive Breastfeeding rate in Lagos state👏👏👏👏
The campaign spans all year!
Till 2027! remember babies should be put to breast within the first 1 hour of life.
Breast milk is every child's right!

O! the joy of collaboration every World Breastfeeding Week!
My duty post might have changed but the goal to deliver excellent nutrition intervention services remain constant.
It's been celebration galore all week as we dance round the hospital environment and sensitize the community on the importance of breastfeeding, its advantage to both mother, child and the community at large.
Breastfeeding is the real "Ajosepo"
It involves everyone!
It's a collective responsibility of everyone!

Day 1 at the Nigerian Food Summit 2026 was truly mind blowing.
Every session reinforced that food is far more than nourishment. It is health, safety, innovation, and economic growth.
I had the privilege of learning from brilliant panelists and industry experts whose insights challenged and inspired me.
As the First panelist for today, we explored nutrition, food safety, and the future of food entrepreneurship in Nigeria.
We emphasized that food safety is not optional. It is the foundation of every successful food business.
Every aspiring food vendor must understand that safe food handling begins long before the first sale is made.
From production to preparation and service, every step matters in protecting lives and building trust.
As a dietitian, I am excited to see more conversations that connect nutrition, public health, and sustainable food systems.
The future of Nigeria’s food industry depends on knowledgeable, responsible, and innovative professionals.
