One sunny afternoon, a man climbed an avocado tree to harvest its fruits. He carefully plucked an avocado and tossed it down, but it hit the ground with a hard thud and split open. He picked another one and dropped it more carefully, yet it also landed badly and broke apart.
A young boy nearby had been watching everything. Seeing the man's frustration, he felt sorry for him and decided to help.
"Uncle, don't worry," the boy said confidently. "I'll catch them for you!"
The man smiled. "That's very kind of you. All right, stand there and be ready."
The boy stretched out his arms and took his position beneath the tree. The next avocado came down, and he caught it perfectly.
"Well done!" shouted the man.
Another avocado followed. The boy caught that one too.
The man was impressed. "You're a natural!"
Feeling proud, the boy stood even straighter and prepared for the next catch. But as the man reached for another avocado, one fruit slipped unexpectedly from his hand. It came down much faster than the others.
Before the boy could react, thump!
The avocado landed squarely on his head.
The boy dropped to the ground, clutching his head. Within minutes, a large swelling appeared. The man quickly climbed down from the tree, and together with some villagers who had witnessed the incident, rushed the boy to the hospital.
Fortunately, the boy recovered, but he never forgot the lesson he learned that day 🤣🤣
