So, Last month, my husband said we should start eating healthy 😌🥗
I supported the vision to it do immediately.
We bought oats, fruits, vegetables, Greek yoghurt...
The kitchen looked like a nutrition seminar. 😭
Every morning, I served him oats with banana and said:
“Babe, we are taking this health journey seriously.”
He would smile proudly and eat.
Then I told him I was done with soft drinks too. 😌🥤❌
And he believed me.
Next day, he came home with fruits 🍎🍌🍊 and said:
“Baby, I’m proud of your discipline.” 🥹
Me: “Ehen na… healthy living is my new name.” 😌
I even ate one apple in his presence like person wey truly don change. 😌
But temptation no dey hear word. 😭
I quietly messaged the security man:
“Abeg help me buy one chilled malt and keep am low-key.” 😭
He delivered it like classified package.
I hid it inside my handbag and waited patiently for my husband to sleep.
By midnight… operation enjoyment began. 🎉
I tiptoed to the kitchen like thief in the night.
One hand holding chilled malt 🍾
The other hand inside oats container, bringing out chin chin. 😩😂
I gently opened the malt...
Pssssst! 😭
As I wan enjoy myself peacefully…
Only for my husband to wake up and appear behind me like emergency alert. 😭
I froze.
He froze.
Even the chin chin froze.
Him: “So this is the healthy lifestyle?”
Me: “Babe... na my iron supplements"😭😂
