For our country to benefits from homeopathy, homeopathy must be practised in its whole extent. Practicing homeopathy under the so called CAM group means the country is joking. Homeopathy is a complete system of medicine and must be practiced as such.

Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, and Indian Council of Medical Research– National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research (ICMR-NICPR) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to undertake joint research for the research study titled 'Comprehensive Transcriptomic & Epigenomic Assessment of Homeopathic Preparation of Hydrastis & Condurango Homeopathy Drugs in Lung Cancer Cell Lines & Animal Model System'. This study aims to explore the molecular mechanism of homeopathic medicines and their anticancer effects In-vitro and in-vivo.

The MoU was signed between Dr. Subhash Kaushik, Director General, CCRH, and Dr. Shalini Singh, Director, ICMR-NICPR in the presence of the Principal Investigator, Dr R. Suresh Kumar, Scientist-F, ICMR-NICPR on 23rd January 2026.

Dr. K.C. Muraleedharan, Assistant Director (H)/Scientist-4, CCRH, Dr. Manas R Sarangi, Research Officer (H)/Scientist-3, CCRH, Dr. Pramod Kumar, Scientist-D, ICMR-NICPR, who are part of the study team and other scientists from ICMR-NICPR were also present.

Role of homeopathy in pediatric care cannot be overemphasized.

This pragmatic randomised controlled trial compared homeopathic and conventional primary paediatric care for acute illnesses in children from birth to 24 months, with conventional medicine used as a safety back-up in the homeopathic group when medically indicated.

Among 108 infants in India, those receiving homeopathic care experienced significantly fewer sick days, fewer illness episodes—particularly respiratory infections—required fewer antibiotics, and incurred lower treatment costs than those in conventional care. Children in the homeopathic group were also taller, though not heavier, over the study period.

Overall, the findings suggest that homeopathy, integrated with conventional medicine for safety, may be a safe, effective, and cost-efficient primary care approach in the first two years of life.
