Today reminded me that God can use anyone to answer a prayer.

I opened my shop as usual, cleaned everywhere, and waited for customers. Like every business owner, I hoped today would bring good sales. But from morning till evening, the only thing I sold was a few sachets of pure water.

The only meal I had today was the leftover food I cooked yesterday. After that, there was nothing else to eat because there was no money from sales. I sat there wondering how I would keep going. At one point, I couldn't hold back my tears.

Then my phone rang.

It was an old friend. Surprisingly, the first thing he asked was, "What did you eat this afternoon?"

When I told him I hadn't eaten because business was slow, he simply said, "Send me your account number." A few minutes later, he sent me ₦3,000.

It may not seem like much to some people, but to me, it was more than money. It was a reminder that even on the hardest days, God has a way of showing us that we are not forgotten.

If you're going through a difficult season, don't lose hope. Sometimes help comes from the people you least expect, and sometimes it arrives at exactly the right time.

Don't let that make your heart bitter.

Keep being kind, but also learn to protect your peace. Not everyone deserves unlimited access to your time, energy, or kindness.
