DECLARATION OF INTENTION
AMBASSADOR HON. LILIAN ADOYI-OFIEBOR
FOR MEMBER, HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
OTUKPO–OHIMINI FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY | APC
My beloved people of Otukpo and Ohimini Federal Constituency, distinguished leaders, women, youths, and grassroots stakeholders.
Today, I stand before you with deep humility, profound gratitude, and an unshakeable commitment to service as I officially declare my intention to contest the 2027 Federal House of Representatives election to represent Otukpo–Ohimini under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
As a proud daughter of this great constituency born of Ohimini and rooted in Otukpo, I have lived amongst you, learned from you, and worked with you to better our communities.
My journey from humble beginnings through education in Benue and advanced studies abroad, to becoming a humanitarian, hospitality expert, and ambassador for community upliftment, has shaped the vision I bring to the political arena.
Over the years, my work through the Olohi Ga Eh Foundation has empowered women and girls, provided scholarships, and created opportunities for skills acquisition.
I have created direct employment and supported young people into careers, including contributing to the success of some in professional sports abroad.
Yet, despite the progress we have made, our people still face persistent challenges that demand bold and transformative leadership:
1. Disunity and social fragmentation that weaken collective progress.
2. Youth unemployment and lack of meaningful jobs that stifle potential.
3. Cultism and insecurity that rob families of peace and prosperity.
4. Gaps in healthcare and access to quality education, especially for girls and vulnerable communities.
5. Inadequate infrastructure, water scarcity, and limited economic opportunities that slow our growth.
These are not just statistics; they are the lived realities of our people. This is why I, Lilian Adoyi-Ofiebor, have chosen to step forward to serve you at the National Assembly. I believe that informed, compassionate, and results-oriented leadership can turn our collective challenges into shared opportunities.
I have chosen the All Progressives Congress (APC) as my political platform because of its commitment to national development, economic reform, and inclusive governance.
The APC vision resonates with my belief that:
True representation must prioritize grassroots empowerment.
Unity and discipline are foundational to sustainable progress.
Development for Otukpo–Ohimini must be anchored in partnerships with government, the private sector, and community leaders.
As your representative, I pledge to champion:
1. Youth empowerment through skills training, enterprise support, and small business incentives.
2. Education access and girl-child advancement through scholarships and secure learning environments.
3. Healthcare improvement with targeted interventions for women, children, and the elderly.
4. Job creation through tourism, hospitality, and local industry promotion.
5. Security collaboration with law enforcement and community stakeholders.
6. Infrastructure development including roads, water systems, and rural electrification.
My aspiration is not only to be your voice in Abuja but your partner in progress—to build a constituency where every young person sees hope, every woman realizes her potential, and every family can thrive.
With faith in God, confidence in our people, and allegiance to our shared destiny, I humbly ask for your prayers, support, and votes. Together, we can transform Otukpo–Ohimini into a beacon of development, unity, and opportunity.
