WHY IS MY NI**LE CRACKING?

• Baby is not attaching well to the breast.

• Baby is sucking only the tip, not the full dark area around it.

• Dry skin or no moisture on the ni**le.

• Washing the breast too often with soap.

• Pulling baby off suddenly while feeding.

• Wrong use of breast pump.

• Tight bra rubbing against the ni**le.

• Infection on the breast.

💬 Breastfeeding should not be painful. Pain is a sign that something is wrong.👌
👉🏽 Don’t ignore it....get help early.✌️

NI**LES CRACKED AND BLEEDING IN HIV POSITIVE BREASTFEEDING MORHERS.🧑‍🍼

Nurse, what if both breasts are cracked and bleeding… should I still breastfeed my baby? 😟
I get this question a lot.
If you’re HIV positive and on treatment and both ni**les are bleeding, it’s best to pause breastfeeding for a short time.

Why?
Because when blood is present, the risk of HIV transmission increases.

👉 What to do:
Stop breastfeeding temporarily
Express and discard the milk to keep your flow
Give your baby a safe alternative for now...
Continue with your HIV drugs (very important!).

💡 Once the ni**les heal, you can resume breastfeeding safely.
This is not the end of breastfeeding.... just a pause to protect your baby ✌️❤️

MILK CURES ULCER 🤔

Drink milk, your ulcer will calm down…🥛
But is that really true? 🤔

Milk might make you feel better for a moment…

But here’s the part many people don’t know 👇

After a short while, milk actually triggers more acid production in your stomach 😳

And that extra acid can make the ulcer pain come back even worse.
So what looked like a “remedy” may actually be part of the problem.

Let’s talk 👇
Have you ever tried using milk for ulcer pain?

Did it really help you… or did the pain return later?

Women, when a healthcare professional advises that the safest option for you and your baby is a Caesarean Section (CS), please don’t go around searching for opinions that only sound pleasing.

A is recommended based on careful assessment of your condition and your baby’s wellbeing....not personal preference.👌

Seeking multiple opinions is okay...
but ignoring sound medical advice can put both lives at risk.✌️

Trust skilled care. Ask questions. Understand the reasons. Make informed decisions....not just comfortable ones.
Your safety and your baby’s safety come first. 💙

U=U (Undetectable = Untransmittable) means that when a person living with HIV takes their treatment consistently and maintains an undetectable viral load, they cannot transmit HIV sexually.

This is not opinion...... it is proven science. U=U ends fear, reduces stigma, and reminds us that people on treatment can live healthy, normal lives without risking transmission. 👌

Get tested, stay on treatment, and spread the truth: Undetectable means Untransmittable.✌️
