World Food Day 2025 , “Hand in Hand for Better Nutrition” 🌾

Today reminds us that good nutrition doesn’t start or end on a plate. It begins with collaboration.

From the farmer who cultivates our food, to the dietitian who guides healthy choices, to families and communities who turn those foods into nourishment . We all have a role to play.

Better nutrition is built when:

👩🏽‍🌾 Farmers grow sustainably and protect soil health.

👩🏻‍⚕️ Nutrition professionals educate and inspire healthy eating.

👨🏾‍👩🏽‍👧🏽 Families make conscious food choices.

🏘️ Communities support local food systems and food access

When these hands work together, we move closer to a world where everyone has access to safe, nourishing, and sustainable food.

Let’s go beyond awareness ,let’s build partnerships that feed both health and hope.

Together, we can make nutrition everyone’s business.

When couples think of fertility care, the focus often goes straight to tests, drugs, or procedures.
But one crucial pillar is often overlooked — Nutrition. 🥦🍳🥑

Good nutrition does more than just keep us healthy it plays a direct role in reproductive health:

🔹 Egg & S***m Quality: Nutrients like folate, vitamin D, omega-3s, and zinc protect DNA and support healthy cell development.

🔹 Hormone Balance: Foods rich in B-vitamins, magnesium, and healthy fats regulate estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone.

🔹 Ovulation & Menstrual Health: Stable blood sugar from balanced meals supports regular cycles and better ovulation.

🔹 Reducing Inflammation: Antioxidant-rich foods (berries, greens, nuts) protect reproductive tissues.

🔹 Weight & Metabolic Health: Healthy eating helps manage conditions like PCOS, insulin resistance, or obesity all linked with infertility.

Fertility management isn’t only about medical intervention. The food you eat can either fuel or frustrate your fertility journey.
