SPIRITUAL BLOCKAGE IN IGBO COSMOLOGY
The Healing Is Here
My people, in Igbo cosmology, we understand that human life is not only physical. There is a connection between the physical world and the spiritual world.
A person is connected to Chi, to destiny, to Àlà, to Ndichie—the ancestors, to family and foundation, and to the spiritual forces and relationships that traditional Igbo thought understands as influencing human life.
This is why, when a person experiences repeated difficulties, confusion, lack of progress, broken relationships, loss of direction, or feels that their life is constantly standing still, our traditional understanding may ask whether there is spiritual imbalance or blockage.
But listen carefully:
Spiritual blockage is not always about an enemy.
Sometimes we must look at the foundation.
What is happening with your Chi?
What is happening with your character and your relationship with Àlà?
What have you inherited from your family foundation?
What relationship with Ndichie or the spiritual order has been neglected, according to your tradition?
What have you done—or failed to do—that has brought imbalance into your life?
In Igbo traditional thought, healing is about restoring balance.
We do not begin with fear.
We begin with understanding.
We examine the person, the foundation, the family, the spiritual relationship, the character, the destiny, and the circumstances surrounding the problem.
And where there is wrongdoing, there must be correction.
Where there is broken relationship, there may be reconciliation.
Where there is confusion, there must be wisdom.
Where there is fear, there must be courage.
Where there is imbalance, there must be restoration.
As High Priestess, The Healing Seer, I teach people not to live their lives in fear of invisible enemies.
I teach awareness, wisdom, spiritual balance, restoration, and healing.
Because sometimes the greatest breakthrough is not discovering who is against you—
it is discovering what needs to be restored within you and around you.
