The mother of one of the victims kidnapped along the Benin Lagos Expressway on Monday is crying out for help after kidnappers allegedly demanded ₦50 million for the release of her daughter, Christiana, who was abducted during the incident.

Christiana was among passengers taken when àrméd men àttàckéd a GUO Transport 18-seater bus on Monday. Reports also say the driver was kílléd during the attack.

“They kidnapped my pikin and said I should bring ₦50 million. I no get that kind money. I dey beg for ₦10 million, dem never reply me,” she cried.

“I be widow. My husband don díé. Christiana no get papa. Abeg, make una help me,” she said.
