We are thrilled to announce the upcoming unveiling of the PUMSA Chain Mentorship Programme, a transformative initiative designed to foster academic growth, connection, and excellence amongst PUMSites.

This groundbreaking initiative of the Ikediasor Vera-led Administration represents a new era of mentorship and it's designed to ensure that each member of a team is directly responsible for the junior colleague(s) in the chain. Through this structure, every PUMSite becomes both a contributor and a beneficiary, creating a continuous flow of guidance, support, and shared knowledge.

Join us for the unveiling on the 11th of December 2024 as we take the first step towards creating a stronger, more connected PUMSA family. We encourage everyone to take advantage of this Programme.

Happy New Month and welcome to December!

As we enter this final stretch of the year, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey we have shared these past months. Being part of this vibrant and resilient community has been one of my greatest joys, and I am truly grateful for each one of you.

This month is not just a time to celebrate how far we have come but also to look ahead with hope and determination. December is a season of love, giving, and reflection—let’s embrace it fully, supporting one another as we always do.

Remember, as you push forward in your academics and personal pursuits, take moments to breathe, reflect, and recharge. You have worked hard, and you deserve to finish the year strong.

Thank you for your trust, commitment, and the energy you bring to PUMSA. Together, we have achieved so much, and together, we will keep building something extraordinary.

The PUMSA public health committee in collaboration with the Diabetes Association of Nigeria wishes you a Happy World diabetes day!

Today, we raise awareness about diabetes and its impact on millions of lives. To mark this occasion, our team recently conducted a street interview to gather perspectives from people about their understanding, experiences and take on diabetes.

The responses were insightful and eye-opening. From misconceptions to personal struggles, the conversations highlighted the need for greater awareness, education, and support.

Let's work together to promote diabetes awareness and advocacy.

Eat healthy, exercise, check your blood glucose level regularly and let's make a difference!

Still in the spirit of the MB professional exam season, the Director of welfare, Grace Felix, alongside her exclusive team members and the PUMSA President, Ikediasor Vera, went out to share stationeries as well as reassuring words of encouragement to the soon-to-be Immunity class.
