Diabetes complications & management: Diabetes can cause complications when blood sugar remains high for a long time or fluctuates severely. It can affect the eyes, kidneys, nerves, heart, brain, blood vessels, feet, teeth, skin, and s*xual health. Good glucose control, regular screening, BP and cholesterol management, healthy lifestyle, and early treatment can prevent or delay many complications.

PEPTIC ULCER SIGNS, CAUSES & MANAGEMENT

Peptic ulcer is an open sore that develops in the lining of the stomach or the first part of the small intestine, called the duodenum. It commonly occurs due to H. pylori infection or long-term NSAID painkiller use. Symptoms can include burning upper abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, vomiting, or bleeding. Untreated ulcers can rarely lead to bleeding, perforation, or blockage.

➟ Burning upper abdominal pain
➟ Bloating or fullness
➟ Nausea or vomiting
➟ Pain may be related to meals or occur at night.

🔹 Pain pattern
➟ Pain is usually felt in the upper middle abdomen
➟ May feel burning, gnawing, or hunger-like

1. Get enough sleep.
Poor sleep lowers testosterone, estrogen, and energy levels. Aim for 7–9 hours of good-quality sleep most nights.

2. Exercise regularly.
Walking, strength training, and other physical activities improve blood flow, boost mood, and increase s*xual desire.

3. Manage stress.
Constant stress raises cortisol, a hormone that can reduce s*x drive. Deep breathing, relaxation, hobbies, and taking breaks can help.

4. Eat a balanced diet.
Choose fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, and lean protein. Poor nutrition can affect hormone production and energy.

5. Talk to your partner.
Relationship problems, poor communication, and emotional distance can reduce s*xual interest. Honest conversations often help.

6. See a healthcare professional.
A low s*x drive may be caused by low testosterone, menopause, thyroid disease, depression, certain medicines, or other medical conditions. Treating the cause often improves libido.
