Imagine the sacrifice. Imagine the pain. Imagine the tears.

Imagine what mothers go through just to bring life into this world. From the discomfort of pregnancy to the pain of labour and, for some, the scars of surgery—motherhood comes with sacrifices that words can hardly describe.

May God continue to bless, strengthen, and protect every mother. ❤️

And may He especially bless those who have waited and struggled for years before finally holding their babies in their arms. 🙏❤️

Motherhood is truly a journey of strength, love, and sacrifice.

CS Is Not a Failure

Today, I had an encounter with a woman that broke my heart.

She was crying because she didn't want to give birth through CS. I asked her why, and her answer shocked me.

She said, “My husband and his family will see me as a nobody. They told me to ignore the doctor's report and try to give birth normally.”

She listened to them and went to a primary health centre to try. Unfortunately, things became complicated, and she was eventually brought to the hospital as an emergency.

During the process, her uterus almost ruptured.

And I asked her, “Why did you risk your life just to prove a point?”

Her response broke me: “My husband and his family are the ones putting pressure on me.”

My dear woman, please listen to me:

Your life is more important than people's opinions.

A Caesarean section is NOT a failure.
It does NOT make you less of a woman.
It does NOT reduce your worth as a mother.

CS is simply another method of bringing a baby into the world, and sometimes it is the safest option for both mother and baby.

Please, don't allow anyone to pressure you into rejecting medical advice just because they want you to prove that you can deliver va**nally.

If your doctor recommends a CS because of a complication, listen. Ask questions. Understand the reason. But don't risk your life trying to satisfy people.

Because if something happens to you, the same people who pressured you may eventually move on with their lives.

Your life matters. Your baby needs you alive.

Women, please be proud of yourselves.
CS is not a failure. Choosing a safe delivery is not weakness. It is wisdom. ❤️

Based on urgency
Elective CS: Planned in advance because there is a known indication.
Emergency CS: Done urgently when there is a problem affecting the mother or baby.
2. Based on the uterine incision
Lower Segment Caesarean Section (LSCS): A transverse incision is usually made in the lower part of the uterus. This is the most commonly performed type.
Classical Caesarean Section: A vertical incision is made in the upper part of the uterus. It is less common and is used in specific situations.
