Neem oil is now available. 🌿
It's pressed from the seeds of the dogonyaro tree, which grows all over Nigeria. It has a strong garlicky scent and a golden to dark amber colour.
Traditionally it's used for skin and scalp care once diluted in a carrier oil, and around the home as a natural pest deterrent.
Please note it is for external use only. Do a patch test first, and keep it away from eyes and children.

Fresh or dried figs work differently depending on which one you're using.
Fresh figs are soft, juicy, and don't last long once ripe great eaten on their own or added to a dish the same day. Dried figs concentrate the sweetness, last much longer, and are easier to keep on hand for regular use.

Neither one is "better" they just serve different purposes.
