Month 2 – Gratitude & JOY
Fruit: Joy
Gratitude fills my heart for joy, the kind that remains steady through every season.

Joy rooted in faith, purpose, and contentment.

I am thankful for laughter, lessons, and the inner strength that chooses joy regardless of circumstances.

This joy continues to be my strength.

Scripture:
“The joy of the Lord is your strength.”
— Nehemiah 8:10

Month 1

Gratitude & LOVE

Today, I begin a season of intentional gratitude.
I am deeply thankful for love—God’s unwavering love and the love expressed through family, friends, mentors, and meaningful connections.
Love has shaped my journey, refined my heart, and taught me the power of forgiveness, compassion, and grace.

I am grateful for love that stayed, love that healed, and love that grew me.

Here’s to walking daily in love freely given and humbly received.

💖

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
— 1 Corinthians 13:13

Today marks another year for me, and I’m incredibly grateful! 🎉

Grateful to God for His faithfulness, His opened doors, and His perfect timing in everything. Grateful for family that supports my vision, colleagues who challenge me to grow, and clients who trust me with their most important projects.

This year has been full of meaningful moments. Watching my daughters step confidently into their futures, advancing my own education even further, seeing buildings come to life that will serve communities for decades, and having the privilege of mentoring young women entering architecture and facilities management.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Your partnership, your wisdom, and your encouragement have made all the difference.

Here’s to another year of building something that matters. 🥳🥂
Thank you, INVASION L’AFRIQUE

I am filled with gratitude for the gift of life. Another year has passed, and with it, countless experiences have shaped who I am. Each day has been a blessing, an opportunity to learn, grow, and become a better version of myself. Today, I pause to thank God for allowing me to see another year and for walking beside me through it all. morounmubo omobs @49

For many years now, my professional life has been a fascinating dialogue between two disciplines: the grand vision of architecture and the grounded, practical reality of facilities management. As I like to think of it, one draws the map, and the other navigates the journey, with all its potholes.

I have often found that the most beautiful design is one that endures. When you think of the incredible effort and resources that go into creating it, it only makes sense. It is easy to be seduced by a rendering, but the true character of a building is revealed years later. Does it still function when the Lagos heat is at its peak? Can its spaces adapt when a company grows? This is where my team and I at APIC Managers thrive: in the lifelong art of making sure a building not only stands but truly serves its people.

Let me share one thing I have learned that they do not always teach in architecture school:

The most ‘Nigerian’ building is an adaptable one.

True sustainability here means designs that work with our environment. This requires materials that stand up to our humidity, layouts that manage heat naturally, and systems that perform reliably even when the power grid does not. It is a building that can be maintained with skill and parts available here. This is practical design that respects both our environment and our economy. A building that cannot adapt is simply a very expensive sculpture.

This philosophy is what we practice every day at APIC Managers. I am incredibly proud to lead a team that takes this long view, turning structures into dynamic, living assets that support people's work and well-being for years to come.

I am always happy to connect with clients, collaborators, and fellow professionals who are passionate about building a Nigeria that works, from the ground up.

Warmly,

Mubo Oludiran

As the clock ticks down on 2023, I can't help but pause and reflect on a year filled with challenges, triumphs, and growth. I would like to share a few of my experiences this year in facilities management at Arkland Properties and Investment Co and the lessons I learned both on and off the job.

• This year wasn't just about managing buildings; it was about making a tangible difference. From spearheading energy-saving initiatives to exceeding client expectations, every little victory fueled my passion for the industry and reinforced my belief in Arkland's commitment to excellence.

• While navigating the world of facilities management, I prioritized personal growth. Whether it was learning and mastering new skills, giving back to the community through volunteering, or exploring other passions, I embraced every opportunity to learn and evolve. This holistic approach kept me inspired and prepared for the challenges that came my way.

• No journey is without its roadblocks. This year presented its fair share of challenges, but the beauty of it is that with each hurdle overcome, my resolve and resourcefulness strengthened. From exceeding project deadlines to finding creative solutions to complex problems, I learned the invaluable power of discipline and collaboration.

Looking ahead, I choose to carry the lessons learned this year with me – the importance of adaptability, empathy, and sustainability. With each project at Arkland, we're not just building structures. We're building dreams and hope for a better tomorrow in real estate, housing development, and home ownership. This lets me know that my work is truly important, and it reminds me to do the best I can always. I am very grateful to be a part of this journey, alongside a team dedicated to shaping the future of real estate in Nigeria.

I’m also looking forward to 2024, when I will have the chance to collaborate with more amazing people on even bigger projects. I would love to connect with you! You can also check out Arkland Properties if you’re interested in what we do!

How’s this:

Congratulations to on breaking the world record for the longest cooking time by an individual! 90 hours?! I saw videos where she was in pain, where she was crying… but she kept pushing. She’s amazing and so strong. 😘

I think this wonderful achievement is a huge call to action for everyone. It challenges us all to really push beyond our limits, embrace our unique talents, and pursue our dreams with unyielding determination. Just do your thing and watch how the world falls in line to support you. We really are capable of achieving greatness when we set our minds to it.
I’m so happy for her. Go girl! 💪🏾🌟
