🎗️🏃♀️ Can exercise become part of cancer care?
The answer is yes. Scientific evidence shows that properly prescribed physical activity can help people living with and beyond cancer to better cope with treatments, reduce fatigue, improve physical function, and enhance quality of life.
That’s why the Erasmus+ ECOLE Project has developed an Advanced Training Course in Exercise Oncology, designed to train professionals who can safely support cancer patients through adapted physical activity programmes.
💡 The course will provide knowledge on:
✅ Cancer treatments and their effects on the body
✅ Exercise prescription for different cancer types
✅ Rehabilitation and supportive care
✅ Nutrition, psychology, and patient motivation
✅ Working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
🌍 Developed by universities, hospitals, and research centres from Italy, France, and Romania, this programme is helping build a future where exercise is recognized as an important ally in cancer care.
Together, we are promoting a healthier, more active, and more supportive future for people affected by cancer. 💙
