The Health and Medicines Information Section within the FIP promotes networking between pharmacists with an interest in health and medicines information.

Health and Medicine Information Section (HaMIS) of FIP offers a forum to share knowledge about information issues relating to pharmacy, medicines, diseases and health, including public health; avenues for networking between groups that provide information services to patients and healthcare professionals; avenues for networking between groups that research in the area of health and medicine inform

ation; opportunities to enhance public health and the work of the profession of pharmacy through information programs and related initiatives. Current areas of interest

What a fantastic HaMIS Rapid Fire Session at !

Close to 100 participants joined us to hear inspiring presentations from colleagues around the world. Topics ranged from medicines safety, health and medicines information, and health literacy, to implementation science and many other impactful programs and innovations improving healthcare globally.

The rapid-fire format brought together a wonderful mix of ideas, experiences and practical solutions from across our international pharmacy family.

👏 Thank you to all our presenters and everyone who attended and supported the session.

🏆 The Rapid Fire Presentation Winner will be announced today at 4:00 pm Montreal time during the Closing Ceremony.

Happy 75th Birthday, HaMIS! 🎉

What a wonderful evening celebrating 75 years of the FIP Health and Medicines Information Section at our Section Dinner in Montreal!

We were delighted to mark this milestone with special anniversary cupcakes and by presenting our commemorative 75th Anniversary pins, with FIP President and FIP CEO among the first recipients.

A huge thank you to our amazing MemCo team, especially Marie and Yifan, and to the fantastic FIP staff who helped make the celebration happen.

The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences 2026 has started! During the Opening Ceremony, Mr Paul Sinclair AM, FIP President, congratulated our Section with it's 75-year anniversary. Former FIP Health and Medicines Information Section President Prof. Parisa Aslani was awarded the Exceptional Pharmaceutical Education Award. And our current Section's Treasurer Dr Veronika Seda became a FIP Fellow!
