Terwijl de duisternis dichterbij komt, wordt Andre gered door de legendarische 貂蝉 (Diao Chan) en de machtige krijger Lü Bu. Terwijl mysterieuze mannen in zwarte gewaden jacht maken op de Time Traveler door de schaduwen van het oude China, begeleidt dokter 張仲景 (Zhang Zhongjing) Andre naar een verborgen portaal voordat het te laat is.

Maar wie zijn deze mannen met zwarte capuchons… en waarom proberen ze de Time Traveler tegen te houden om eeuwenoude kennis en vergeten wijsheid te delen met zijn Instagram-volgers in 2026?

As darkness closes in, Andre is rescued by the legendary 貂蝉 (Diao Chan) and the mighty warrior Lü Bu. While mysterious men dressed in black hunt the Time Traveler through the shadows of ancient China, Doctor 張仲景 (Zhang Zhongjing) guides Andre toward a hidden portal before it is too late.

But who are the men in black hooded robes… and why are they trying to stop the Time Traveler from bringing ancient knowledge and forgotten wisdom to his Instagram followers in 2026?

Binnen de Klassieke Chinese Geneeskunde werd ziekte vaak gezien als een invasie van externe pathogenen zoals de mysterieuze “Thieving Wind” (賊風), beschreven in de Huangdi Neijing Suwen. Deze kwaadaardige wind zou het lichaam binnendringen wanneer de verdedigende Wei Qi verzwakt is.

Al duizenden jaren onderzochten Chinese artsen hoe het lichaam zichzelf beschermt tegen ziekte. Wat veel mensen niet weten, is dat China eeuwen vóór Europa al primitieve vormen van immunisatie gebruikte tegen pokken. Rond de Song- en Ming-dynastieën werd variolatie toegepast: een vroege techniek waarbij men gecontroleerd blootgesteld werd aan pokmateriaal om bescherming op te bouwen.

Pas in de 18e eeuw bereikte deze kennis Europa, waarna Edward Jenner in 1796 de basis legde voor de moderne vaccinatie.

Within Classical Chinese Medicine, disease was often viewed as an invasion of external pathogens such as the mysterious “Thieving Wind” (賊風), described in the Huangdi Neijing Suwen. This malignant wind was believed to enter the body when the protective Wei Qi had become weakened.

For thousands of years, Chinese physicians studied how the body protects itself against disease. What many people do not know is that China was already using primitive forms of immunization against smallpox centuries before Europe. During the Song and Ming dynasties, a technique known as variolation was practiced — a controlled exposure to smallpox material to build protection against severe illness.

It was not until the 18th century that this knowledge reached Europe, after which Edward Jenner laid the foundation for modern vaccination in 1796.

in the last episode, 貂蝉 (Diao Chan) suddenly became ill after exposure to the mysterious “Thieving Wind” — a pathogenic force in ancient Chinese medicine believed to invade the body when the pores are open and the body’s defenses are weakened.

Doctor 张仲景 (Zhang Zhongjing), one of the greatest physicians in Chinese history, used acupuncture and powerful herbal medicine to restore the flow of Qi, expel the cold pathogen, and bring balance back to her body. ⚔️🌿

⚔️ De late Eastern Han dynasty (25–220 AD) was één van de meest chaotische en legendarische periodes uit de Chinese geschiedenis.

Krijgsheren zoals Lü Bu en Cao Cao vochten om macht terwijl het Han-rijk instortte door oorlog, corruptie, hongersnood en epidemieën.

Tegelijkertijd leefde de beroemde arts Zhang Zhongjing in deze periode van ziekte en chaos. Zijn medische kennis vormde de basis van de Traditionele Chinese Geneeskunde zoals we die vandaag kennen.

Een tijdperk van oorlog, legendes en het ontstaan van klassieke Chinese geneeskunde. 🐉

⚔️ The Late Eastern Han Dynasty (25–220 AD) was one of the most chaotic and legendary periods in Chinese history.

Warlords like Lü Bu and Cao Cao fought for power as the Han Empire collapsed through war, corruption, famine, and epidemics.

At the same time, the great physician Zhang Zhongjing lived through these deadly outbreaks and created medical systems that would shape Traditional Chinese Medicine for nearly 2000 years.

An era of war, heroes, and the birth of classical Chinese medicine. 🐉
