The November Adventurous activities Foundation Skills Weekend is open for registrations. Wrap up your scout year with some adventure skills training and meeting fellow Leaders. Get prepared for the coming 2027 year. The last skills weekend in March over 90 SP and TP qualifications were issued.

The South Met Snow spectacular is on again with 53 starters signed up already.
But we need your help. Our Chef has had to cancel! The team is appealing to anyone who would be able to do the weekend catering. There is plenty of scouting people to help but we need someone to head up the catering. If you want to contribute to a great weekend for the kids, this is a great opportunity. Hi Leaders. Have you ever wondered what would happen if you lost a single canoe from a trailer doing 80kmh. It could kill someone! You have a safety chain on the trailer. How about a simple safety rope on all the canoes. We saw this great method of securing canoes from a commercial operator the other weekend. Look at the orange rope. Easy and quick and cheap.
