On this auspicious 8th day of the 7th Tibetan lunar month, under the guidance of Khenpo Dhondub, the Sangha of Sangye Choeling Monastery observed the sacred Tashi Sojong practice during the ongoing 45-day Summer Retreat (Yarne).

🌸 Tashi Sojong — An Auspicious Day of Purification and Renewal 🌸
Today, on the auspicious 8th day of the 7th month of the Tibetan lunar calendar, under the guidance and presiding presence of Khenpo Dhondub, the monks of Sangye Choeling Monastery are observing the sacred Tashi Sojong practice during the ongoing Summer Rain Retreat.
Tashi Sojong is a significant Buddhist practice of confession, purification, and restoration of vows and virtuous commitments. It provides an opportunity to reflect upon one’s actions, purify negativities, renew wholesome commitments, and strengthen one’s dedication to the Dharma.
This auspicious day also marks the midpoint of the 45-day Summer Rain Retreat (Yarne), during which the Sangha remains devoted to prayer, meditation, Dharma study, discipline, and spiritual practice.
🙏 The merits accumulated through today’s sacred practice are dedicated especially for the peace, stability, prosperity, and wellbeing of Nepal 🇳🇵 and all nations throughout the world.
May all unfavorable conditions and obstacles be pacified.
May disease, epidemics, famine, conflict, and suffering gradually cease.
May peace and harmony prevail throughout the world.
May every country and every community flourish with prosperity, compassion, and wellbeing.
May these accumulated merits become a cause for peace, happiness, wisdom, and liberation for all sentient beings.
