Many people go to the gym regularly and exercise consistently, yet still experience pain in the back, shoulders, or neck. One common reason is improper guidance during training. Often, people lift weights by observing others and copying exercises without understanding the correct technique, posture, or movement patterns.
In my clinical practice, I frequently see individuals who focus heavily on strength training with sudden increases in weight while completely neglecting flexibility and mobility exercises. Over time, this creates muscular imbalances and places excessive stress on the joints and supporting structures of the body, eventually leading to pain and injury.
Before starting any exercise program, it is important to consult a physiotherapist for proper guidance, correct exercise techniques, and personalized movement strategies suited to your body and goals.
