तपाईंका आँखाहरू केवल सामान्य परीक्षणका लागि होइनन्, सम्पूर्ण मूल्याङ्कनका हकदार छन्।
लक्षण देखिएपछि होइन, समस्या आउनुअघि नै आफ्नो दृष्टिको सुरक्षा गर्नुहोस्।
फरक काम गर्नु मात्र होइन, काम गर्ने तरिका फरक हुनु पनि महत्त्वपूर्ण हुन्छ।
विगतमा आँखा शिविरहरू प्रायः अस्पतालभन्दा टाढा, सीमित साधन र स्रोतसहित सञ्चालन गरिन्थे। तर गौतम बुद्ध आँखा उपचार केन्द्रले फरक सोच र फरक अभ्यासलाई आत्मसात गरेको छ।
हामी बिरामीलाई सीमित स्रोत भएको अस्थायी शिविरमा बोलाउँदैनौँ। बरु, हामी समुदायलाई अत्याधुनिक प्रविधि, अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय स्तरका उपकरणहरू, अनुभवी विशेषज्ञ चिकित्सकहरू तथा सम्पूर्ण नेत्र सेवासहितको अस्पतालको ढोकासम्म ल्याउँछौँ।
किनभने यदि सबै आँखा रोगहरू केवल टर्चको उज्यालो र सामान्य दृष्टि परीक्षणबाट नै पत्ता लगाउन र उपचार गर्न सकिने भए, अत्याधुनिक आँखा अस्पताल, OCT, Retina Scan, Glaucoma Evaluation, Pediatric Eye Services तथा अन्य विशिष्टीकृत उपकरणहरूको आवश्यकता नै पर्ने थिएन।

After all, if every eye problem could be diagnosed and treated with only a torchlight and a simple vision screening, there would be no need for advanced eye hospitals, OCT scans, retinal imaging, glaucoma workups, paediatric eye services, ocular oncology facilities, and the many sophisticated technologies that help preserve sight.
Many serious eye diseases—including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, retinal disorders, macular degeneration, and childhood eye conditions—often develop silently and may not show symptoms until vision has already been permanently affected. Early detection remains the key to saving sight.
In collaboration with the Government of Nepal and local elected representatives, this noble initiative is envisioned to become a model project for the years to come—demonstrating how communities can be connected directly to high-quality, specialist eye care services and setting a new benchmark for community-based healthcare delivery.
