I'm Millie and I have been a Naturopath and Registered Nurse for 20 years and I'm very experienced in many healthcare areas particularly nutrition and emotional well-being. Also an Integrative Registered Nurse for over 20 years, I use my knowledge and judgement to assess the health needs of the individual to provide care, adv

ice and support giving balance to their health. The Health Clinic, where mind and body are treated to find whole-being wellness. Working in partnership with you to help you take control of your life again. The mind programmes the brain and the brain can not think without motor function. I treat both at Airmid. See for yourself and book an appointment to start your journey
I offer nutritional support: Nutritional support can be given by first assessing the individuals dietary intake and daily activities. Then adapting a programme to suit the individual. Well-being massage: Massage (including Trigger Point Therapy) aims to reduce pain, increase flexibility and helps relaxation to give improved sleep and aid healing. Homeobotanical remedies: Homebotanical remedies are derived from several herbs selected to treat the same conditions, signs or symptoms. They are individually made for each client then activated to release their full potential. They can be adjusted for optimum benefit. Reflexology: Reflexology is massage on the feet. It is believed that each area on the feet relates to different areas of the body and so by working on these regions it benefits other body parts. Initial consult is 90 minutes which consists of health history assessment, treatment and herbal remedy. Follow up appointments are 60 minutes.

Basically good

We're all so busy with work, school, family, socialising and keeping up with latest trends that it is completely overwhelming.

We struggle, feel guilty about our failure to meet our goals or other expectations. Then our sleep suffers along with our work and relationships.
Maybe, we ask ourselves “what went wrong?”
It's difficult to know where to start.
I've been thinking lately that I feel more content when I'm out in nature or performing a simple task.
Literally getting back to basics.
Going back to the simplest and most important of actions.

It generates pleasure and happiness, not stress and anxiety.
It's different for individuals. Some like being out in nature, some like cooking or baking. While others enjoy gardening or read a book.

Obviously in life there are certain activities we need to do such as work or family commitments, but I suggest we ask ourselves, does this make me happy? And if it's not essential, seriously consider stopping the unhappy activity.

“Basic happiness
The true art of utter bliss
is the joy we kiss.”
Mary Eliza J.F. Evans

Sometimes we all need guidance and if you want help in getting back, please message me. I can work face to face or online.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

The wealth of health

It has been said that “health is our greatest wealth” (Virgil) and I agree.
If we're fortunate enough to have good health, then we often don't appreciate it until we become unwell and despite being well-off financially it still may be difficult to return to the bliss of good health.
Money can buy us a lot of the high-quality items we desire and even help us to seek expensive health care, but good health needs motivation from us not just money.
It needs our willingness to change our behaviour and mindset.

Are you motivated to become or remain healthy?
Do you want to start your journey for yourself and loved ones?

Please contact me and find the wealth of good health.

Good health

Good health is priceless.
It affects every area of our lives. From our work to our relationships and most of all, quality of life.
When we are healthy, we are more likely to, enjoy life’s moments, and handle challenges with ease.
On the other hand, poor health can lead to stress, poor performance at work and adversely affect our relationships.

Mental health can be overlooked when talking about wellness, I believe it is as important as physical health.
Stress and, anxiety, may affect our minds and take a toll on our physical bodies.
How much is good health worth to us and are we getting value for money?

As a Naturopath and Nurse, I have worked in these areas for many years and have helped many individuals regain and maintain good health.
If this is important to you then please message me, and we can work together to achieve good health for great value.

Changing

Autumn is definitely here, and we've had some cooler weather, however, just as we get a public holiday it's rather warm and dry.

It reminds me of life in general. One minute everything is going as planned, then out of the blue the situation changes. This can happen with our health.

We can be fit and healthy, full of energy, but soon after we become ill or distressed about a certain situation.

I think we need to learn the art of flexibility and the ability to be nimble.
With these skills, we can be more content, and ready to adapt and less anxious.

There are many ways to learn these skills and put them into practice to make your life and your loved ones better.

If you would like to learn these coping mechanisms, then message me to book an appointment and become part of this growing community.
Be more flexible and continue to enjoy life.

Keep it simple

When we're stuck in a pattern that doesn't have our best interests at heart, what do we do?

Sometimes it's so difficult to get started that we just don't bother.
We might want to eat healthier, exercise more, or get more sleep. How do we start and keep going?

We have so many demands in our life that we're torn in many directions.
Self change for the better often comes low on the list.

What if there were a simple, effective and relaxing choice which would cover these main concerns?

Reflexology is massage on the feet.
It is believed that each area on the feet relates to different areas of the body, and so by working on these regions it benefits other body parts.
Which means any area of concern, including mental health, can be addressed whilst relaxing during a Reflexology treatment.

Simply contact me to arrange an appointment.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Worries

We've all got worries in our lives, whether it is our work, family, health or worldly concerns.

We don't want to downplay any of these in an attitude of “don't worry, be happy.”
However, these concerns can wear us down and rob us of any peace of mind.

Sometimes it can paralyse us so we can't make any progress or commitment in our daily routine.

It can affect our sleep, appetite, mood, and relationships.
How do we function whilst being aware of these situations?

There are many methods that can help, such as meditation and breath work.
“The worries and stress
get me down I do confess
What can I do? Breathe”
Mary Eliza J. F. Evans.

When our minds are calm we can think clearly, react kindly and remain present.
If you're struggling and want help, please contact me, and we can work together to help you to enjoy your life.

Turning the clock back

Now that the clocks have gone back 1 hour, we can rejoice that it is lighter in the mornings; however, we have lost the light evenings, and for some of us, it means that we'll find it more difficult to go for a walk after work or dinner.
Our routine is changed, and we need time to adjust.

Sometimes we wish we could turn back the clock in real life. Go back to when we were fitter, happier, healthier, etc.

It doesn't help to live in the past, but if we want to improve our general well-being, we can. We just need some motivation.

We may have an intention in mind but need to put it into action.
If this sounds familiar and you desire to take the next step, then please contact me.
We can work together to achieve your target.

Priorities

When it comes to well-being, we often have differing priorities from those around us.
Sometimes we focus on what we want, losing weight, for example, which can benefit us in general; however, we may find that choosing an area of our health that needs attention will reap a greater reward, and by identifying the body's needs, we may also achieve our personal wants.
Our bodies talk to us regularly, but sometimes we either ignore them or fail to tune in to these subtle messages until some traumatic event stops us in our tracks, and we often say, "It came out of the blue; there was no warning!”
Occasionally we all need help with these wants and needs. If you're having difficulty with your health, then maybe it's time to seek some help.
At the health clinic, I'm here to help you help yourself. Message me; I'd love to hear from you.
Body mind health for all.

What if there is a way to set and achieve your personal goals?

You'd be the driving force, with a professional to guide you through the process.

If this has piqued your interest, and you want to take charge of your well-being then contact me and get started.
