Nothing lasts forever. And maybe that’s what makes life so precious. ❤️

Meet my beautiful friend Justin 🔮😇

An inquisitive soul. A loving soul. A sensitive soul. A creative soul. A fun soul. And someone I miss very dearly.

Justin taught me something I understand more deeply now:

Everything changes.

People come and go.
Places change.
Homes change.
Relationships change.
Seasons change.
And we change.

For so much of our lives, we can be searching for the next thing.

The next home.
The next relationship.
The next achievement.
The next adventure.
The next version of ourselves.

Always thinking happiness is somewhere just ahead of us.

But what if this is it?

What if the life we keep searching for is the one happening right now?

This video of Justin and me heading to the gym makes me smile. I say, “Move it or lose it!” and he laughs and agrees. I tell him, “That’s the fountain of youth.”

And now I realise the fountain of youth was never really about the gym.

It was about being alive.

Moving. Laughing. Cooking together. Walking on the beach. Hugging each other. Being silly. Being present enough to realise how beautiful an ordinary day actually is.

I didn’t know then that one day I would give anything for another one of those ordinary days with my friend.

So I’m learning to stop seeking.

To stop believing something else, somewhere else, will finally make this moment complete.

To look around at the people, places and life I have right now and say:

Thank you. This is enough. I am here. And I am going to enjoy it while it is here.

Because nothing lasts forever.

And perhaps that’s not something to fear.

Perhaps it’s our invitation to truly live.

Dear Justin 🔮😇, thank you for continuing to remind me:

When we stop seeking, we start living.

I love you, my darling friend. ❤️

A reminder of what’s possible when you say yes to life!

Day 2 at the Fifth Gathering with 🤍

There were so many beautiful people, conversations, experiences, laughter and moments I’ll never forget. I’m so grateful I said yes to this experience and all the people it brought into my life 💞

Sometimes the best things happen when you stop overthinking and just say yes 🪄

Here’s a little look at day 2!

There’s something about getting outside, moving your body and breathing in some fresh air that can completely shift your mood.

When I’m feeling overwhelmed or stuck in my head, I go for a walk to move my body.

Nature, movement and a little bit of space can do so much more than we realise.

Sometimes, you just need to get out of your head and back into your body. 💗

REMEMBER: Move Daily 💗

I loved this conversation with Taylor because he reminded me that moving your body doesn’t always have to look like a workout.

Sometimes it’s literally just putting some music on, jumping around, shaking it out and having a bit of fun!

Taylor loves training and getting outside to move too, but I think there’s something to be said for not making movement so serious all the time.

Our bodies want to move. So move! 💪🏼

Stretch. Walk. Dance. Shake. Get outside. Do whatever feels good. Just don’t forget to moveee!
