This Women’s Health Week, we celebrate the Pacific women who continue to lead, advocate and serve in pursuit of better health and wellbeing for our communities 🌊

Following our PMA Conference, we were privileged to hear from so many incredible Pacific women working across health sharing their knowledge, experiences and vision for a healthier Pacific.

Their leadership was also an important reminder that improving women’s health means ensuring our women are heard, represented and supported at every level of our health systems.

As we mark Women’s Health Week, we acknowledge the women who have paved the way, those leading today, and the next generation who will continue this important work.

A great way to end our conference, with the last panel of the day, 'Serving the Future'.

We heard from two groups who shared their experiences, challenges and hopes for the future. This was also a powerful reminder that the future of Pacific health is in capable hands, with the next generation already leading with passion, courage, and heart 🙌🏾

Our first panel of the morning, 'Excellence as Service: Quality, Clinical Leadership and Advanced Care' chaired by Dr Josephine Aumea Herman.

A big meitaki ma'ata to Papali’i Dr Suitafa Debbie Ryan, Dr Paula Vivili and Seiuliali’i Dr George Tuitama for their pearls of wisdom this morning. They reminded us that a culture of excellence is built through leadership, innovation, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
