Signs of healing ❤️

You begin to create a comfortable environment.

My ADHD went overboard and started decorating the entire house 😂, but for you it might be buying some flowers, a new crystal, a candle, or simply making your space feel more like you.

But I think there’s something deeper happening.

It’s when your higher self — that loving inner parent — starts saying:

“You deserve to invest in yourself.”

I’m not really one for buying gifts. If I see something and think someone might like it, of course I’ll get it. Not necessarily for a birthday or special occasion — just because I thought of them.

And I think we can learn to do that for ourselves too.

After all the time you’ve spent processing sadness, betrayal, abandonment and everything that came with it, there comes a moment when something shifts.

The heaviness starts to pass.

And I promise you — it will.

You start looking around your home and thinking:

“What would make me feel good here?”

Maybe it’s flowers.
Maybe it’s paint.
Maybe it’s a new crystal.
Maybe it’s creating a little corner that belongs completely to you.

Whatever it is, let yourself have it.

Because healing isn’t just about letting go of what hurt you.

Sometimes it’s about finally creating a life that feels safe, beautiful and yours. ❤️

So I ask you this, when the sadness passes…

What will change in your environment first?
Love L x

The Resource Within ✨

How many times have you looked back at difficult times and thought, “I don’t know how I got through that!”

We have so much more emotional, physical and spiritual strength within us than we realise.

No matter what you believe or what you align with, I think it all comes together in the moments when we find ourselves talking to someone, some God, our ancestors, the universe — whoever or whatever it is — asking for help.

Reiki translates to life force energy.

It isn’t a religion or a belief system. I like to think of it as my Wi-Fi connection to a higher power. I don’t really need to call it anything else. I just trust that it’s there, because it always seems to be there when I need it.

I didn’t set out to become a Reiki practitioner or teacher. Reiki simply led me here.

I helped myself first.

Through Reiki, I learned to access my own spiritual information and guidance, and that helped me make changes in my life. I gave up alcohol. I walked away from unhealthy friendships. I started listening to myself and trusting what I already knew deep down.

And the beautiful part is, you don’t need to become a practitioner or teacher.

You can learn Reiki and keep it completely for yourself. You can use it as a tool for your own healing, grounding and connection — and that can have a beautiful ripple effect on the people you love too. 🤍

✨ My next Reiki Level 1 class has 3 spaces left.

Finally, I am okay. 🤍

I cried the last time, and with it came a huge breath of relief. The stagnant energy that seemed to consume me finally stopped.

I spent the day lost in my own creative thoughts, not in survival mode.

The next day, I’m buying paint. I’m falling in love with my home again. As I decorate, it talks to me — new ideas falling on top of each other, filling my heart with excitement.

I’m laughing at memes.
I’m teaching the dogs a new trick.
I’m planning something nice for dinner.

And then I realised…

It’s gone.

I’m not abandoned anymore.

I walked out. I chose this.

And I’m going to protect this feeling forever.

I will never let anyone steal my peace again. 🕊️
Keep going it just clicks one day and you are ok x

This is a personal post not all are but I’m over feeling I need to protect people that never even considered me family or not
I’m back ❤️

🐢 Why the tortoise?

My next animal is representing… and I simply cannot get away from the tortoise!

For six months now I’ve been joining groups, learning about them, dreaming about them, and thinking… could we add a tortoise to the clan? 🐢

Then I popped into an op shop… and there was a crystal tortoise!

Okay Spirit… you have my attention. ✨

I meditated on the why while holding my new little tortoise treasure, and something came back to me.

When I first started playcentre, they had a tortoise. I think his name was Harry. 🐢

I was fascinated by him. I loved watching him, and I would always hope I’d be picked to feed him. Somehow, those little memories stayed with me all these years.

And I believe this is why the tortoise is representing itself to me again.

Because animals often arrive as teachers and messengers in our lives.

The tortoise reminds us of resilience.

Of moving slowly and trusting our own pace.

Of carrying our own security within us.

Of wisdom that comes from living long enough to witness many seasons and many changes.

The tortoise protects its home and knows the importance of its territory, its safety and its peace.

And when I think about finding a home for a tortoise, I realise how much intention goes into it… enough sun, enough vegetation, the right environment and, most importantly, peace.

Maybe that is part of the message too.

We don’t always need to rush towards the next thing.

Sometimes we need to create the right environment, feel safe within ourselves, and allow life to unfold at its own pace.

Thank you, tortoise, for finding your way back to me. 🐢🤎

And yes… I have officially signed up to rescue a real tortoise! 😂🐢

We must listen to our guides.

Sometimes they whisper.

Sometimes they appear in crystal form from an op shop

When a cycle ends… ✨

Everything can suddenly feel new.

You notice the things that have always been there a tree you’ve walked past every day but somehow never really seen. New faces that look strangely familiar. A sudden craving to try a food you’ve never had before.

It’s as though you’re looking through new eyes.

You’re being pulled into a new timeline, a new chapter, a new version of yourself. And now, more than ever, it’s important to trust the new.

Lean into it. Feel the excitement. Follow the curiosity. Let yourself be pulled towards adventure.

You don’t need to know exactly where you’re going.
Just trust that you’re no longer where you were. 🌿✨

Happy Monday, everyone.

An autism diagnosis can be bittersweet.

Yes, you were different.
And yes, people often noticed.

I was obsessed with dogs. I could name every breed before I could even tie my own shoelaces.

My emotions were overwhelming—not just because of big life events, but because my clothes felt uncomfortable, sounds were too much, or my mind wouldn’t quieten.

I was never neat or tidy because everything felt uncomfortable. I tried desperately to manage my thoughts. I’d pick at my hair, peel wallpaper, or, if I had a pen, I’d draw. No paper? I’d draw on my arms and legs instead.

But through all of it, I was never mean.

If you have an autistic child, or you’re navigating your own diagnosis, I hope you know this:

You are not “too much.”
You are not broken.
You belong.

Especially with me. 🥰

No one wants to admit they were wrong about someone they loved, whether that person was family, a partner, or a friend.

People with deep empathy often take a long time to realise they have been used or betrayed, because they simply cannot imagine treating someone else that way.

Instead, they turn the blame inward.
“If all these people have left me, maybe I’m the problem.”

But ask yourself one question.

Think back to the time you were together.

Did they offer practical care?
Did they bring you food when you needed it?
Help you clean?
Give thoughtful gifts?
Do small things that made your life easier?
Answer the phone when you needed someone to talk to?
Show up consistently when it mattered?

If the answer is no, then ask yourself a different question:

What were they truly bringing to your life?

I know love isn’t measured by gifts or favours. It’s measured by care, consistency, and presence. But they were only ever around eating your generosity up like a free buffet.

Sometimes healing begins when you stop asking, “Why wasn’t I enough?” and start asking, “Did they really love me in the way I deserved?”

That question can change everything. ❤️

Beyond It All

To feel as though you’re literally cursed, as if nothing is going right, is human.

But I’m beginning to understand that hard times are necessary. If something collapses or falls away, perhaps it was never meant to be permanent.

When we feel we’re losing people or things, our instinct is to hold on tighter. Yet maybe the wiser response is to let go sooner.

In doing so, the air clears, and what remains is real.

A curse is only a belief we give power to. Storms, however, come from somewhere higher—for reasons we may never fully understand.

I’m no longer attached to what leaves.

And in that freedom, something new is born.

The courage to create.
The resilience to take bold steps.
The quiet confidence that even if everything were taken from me, I know I would find my way back.

Are you ready?
