💙 SEPTEMBER IS A SPECIAL MONTH FOR NEURO CONNECTION 💙
This September, we’re celebrating more than 30 years of movement, progress and connection in our community.
Neuro Connection Foundation’s story began in September 1994, when our founder, Frank Schwanner, recognised the need for ongoing neurological rehabilitation for adults and had a vision to create something that could help.
More than three decades later, that vision continues.
The photos may have changed slightly, the faces may have changed, and our programmes have grown — but the heart of what we do remains the same.
Every week at our Tui Glen Centre, people living with stroke and other neurological conditions work towards their own goals — building strength, confidence, independence and connection, one movement at a time.
That’s why September is also the month of our Annual Appeal — Every Movement Counts.
Throughout the month, we’ll be sharing a little of our history, celebrating the people who make Neuro Connection what it is today, and showing just what your support can make possible.
And on Tuesday 22 September, we’ll be taking Every Movement Counts out into our community for our special Annual Appeal Bucket Collection Day. 🪣💛
We’ll share where you can find us very soon!
For more than 30 years, our community has helped keep Frank’s vision moving forward.
Here’s to the next chapter — because Every Movement Counts. 💙💛
