Getting real about my bo***ir experience 🖤
People often assume I’m super comfortable in front of the camera. Truth is, I’m not. This journey of growth through has been as empowering as it’s been challenging and this photoshoot really pushed me to confront how comfortable I actually am putting myself out there for the brand (and myself).
With Hedonist, my goal was to build a brand that’s unapologetic, free of judgment and free of shame. To make that resonate with others, I knew I had to lead by example. And let me tell you, that’s pushed me outside my comfort zone more times than I can count. This bo***ir shoot? Definitely one of those times.
Sure, I’ve done lingerie shoots before, but being practically naked on camera, knowing these images would be shared publicly? That hit different. It made me really reflect on my beliefs and what empowerment actually means to me.
What got me through? The amazing support of my team, my hubby, and the photographers who made us feel so safe and encouraged throughout!
Being vulnerable isn’t easy for anyone, but once I got past the initial discomfort, I found myself unlocking a level of confidence I didn’t even know was there.
And honestly, the love and encouragement from friends and followers after sharing these images? It’s been the most heartwarming reminder of why I do what I do (you guys are the best!).
I know what I’m sharing might not be everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s perfectly okay. Life is about embracing what feels authentic and true to you—and that’s what makes it so beautifully diverse. If sharing this inspires even one person to feel more confident in their own skin, then it’s all been worth it.✨
