Upon reflection of the show at Omakau, celebrating Hickey wool merchant 70 years. It was Super fun, super successful, super setup and super models. And still awaiting some photos to share.
The Anzac dress was taken to Owaka for Anzac Day, fitting because it was about Jesse Morris, young farmer in the Owaka valley, he put his farmer skills to a much needed role on the front line, cutting wire for his fellow soldiers to advance.
I'm going to collect it to have it for Saturday at the Teviot valley Lodge museum. At 7 pm I feel very honoured to be front and centre and hosted by the museum to put on a short show.
What will you see, some of the lodge museum exhibits. Celebration and diversity of the most amazing fibre, I will talk about some of the wool fabric and the processes it goes through, I'll show some of the local Possum products and of course chat about the wool bed pillows that I hand craft here in Roxburgh.
This sat 9th May. Gold coin donation to support the amazing volunteer community who preserve all our history.

It's getting close to Hickey & son Ltd wool merchant's 70th year celebration🎊 There's so much to see at their open day on 18th April at their wool store on the main road of Omakau. 10.30 - 4pm. At about 2pm is the fleece to Fashion cat walk.
What will you see?
Eweburn Creek knitwear,
Some Woolon creations,
Garments from Becs Calder,
And of course garments from me. Woohoo! 😁
My shop will be closed, actually emptied to take it all to Omakau. From competition garments to leisure wear and everything in between. There's always so much last minute things to organize or finish. Here's a sneak peak of a few things.
