Rongoā Māori is not something to consume.
It is something to enter with respect.

For generations, this knowledge has been carried through relationship—between people, the land, the body, and spirit.

The work isn't about chasing quick answers.
It is about slowing down enough to listen.

To the body.
To the breath.
To what has always been present.

Every session, every wānanga, every moment of connection is an invitation to return to what is real.

If you're curious to learn more about upcoming wānanga and workshops, follow along with Wai Orooro.

Slow down. Return within.
We spend so much of our lives searching for answers outside ourselves.

Yet the body has its own language.
The land has its own rhythm.
And in the quiet, we often remember what we already knew.

Rongoā Māori invites us to slow down—not to escape life, but to meet it with greater presence, awareness and connection.

Sometimes, the greatest step forward is simply becoming still enough to listen.

There is a reason so much of this work begins in nature.

The forest doesn't rush.
It doesn't compete.
It simply grows, season after season.

Perhaps we're not here to become someone else.
Perhaps we're here to remember who we've always been.

Every retreat offers space to step away from the noise, reconnect with the land, and listen a little more deeply, to yourself, to those around you, and to the wisdom that quietly unfolds when we slow down.

Sometimes, the path forward begins by returning.

Wānanga.

A space where knowledge is shared, not owned.

Where we come together to listen, to practise, to ask questions and to grow through experience.

Mirimiri and Romiromi are not simply techniques to learn. They are a lifelong journey of relationship, with ourselves, with each other, and with the wisdom carried through generations.

Every gathering is an opportunity to deepen our understanding and continue walking this path together.

Rongoā Māori is more than a practice.

It is a way of reconnecting with the relationship between people, nature, and the wisdom passed down through generations.

It reminds us that healing is not something to chase, but something we create space for through presence, connection, and respect.

Every step begins with listening.
To the body.
To the land.
To yourself.

What does "coming back into balance" mean to you?

Every wānanga is a space to slow down, listen deeply, and learn through experience.

Level 4 is not simply about developing practical skills. It is about refining presence, deepening awareness, and understanding that true learning happens in relationship, with ourselves, with each other, and with the work.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in Melbourne. Your openness, commitment and willingness to walk this path together made this gathering truly special.

Until we meet again 🙏

Papa Hohepa Delamere

Papa Joe.

Some people leave their mark through words.
Others leave it through the lives they touch.

Papa Joe's wisdom continues to live on through every lesson shared, every hand that serves with intention, and every person committed to walking this path with humility.

We honour his legacy by continuing to learn, to practice and to pass that knowledge on with respect.

🙏🌿
