Congratulations to our ten new Breastfeeding Peer Supporter graduates who successfully completed their peer support training course in Dunedin last week πŸŽ‰πŸ€©

A great and well-earned result after their dedication and commitment to training. We look forward to seeing them sharing their breastfeeding knowledge to support others - in their community, in their work, or in the Peer Support drop-in sessions.
Based in the South Dunedin Mall, The Breast Room drop-in clinic provides free breastfeeding support service for mums, parents, and whānau in the Dunedin area, alongside other personalised support as needed. 😁

Well here’s the piece of paper βœ… Now nothing would mean more to me than being able to support a mother &/or their whanau. As a breast feeding support person I may meet you at your most challenging and vulnerable moment. Requiring support with your breast feeding journey may only be the tip of the ice berg. Lets get real about being a parent and normalise the struggles as much as the beauty and joy because that is life. I hope people will sense my genuine, non judgemental heartfelt approach as I embrace being the best support person I can be πŸ’œ
