There's definitely something about a winter's night with Hine Pukohurangi lingering in the background, a time for deep reflection as I connect with the whenua, whanau, pūrakau, matauranga of the last couple of days spent with some pretty incredible people. The gentle chill whispers tales of our tipuna and the rich matauranga they've passed down, reminding me of the beauty inherent in our cultural practices. It's during these quiet moments, surrounded by the essence of whenua, that I feel a profound sense of belonging and community. The warmth of shared stories, like those from a wananga, fills the air, creating a truly safe space. This connection to our whakapapa, akin to nurturing a pēpi, feels vital for the future of our communities. This reflective mood, embracing the spirit of haputanga, allows me to appreciate the interconnectedness of all things. 🌟

Kopakopa: Gentle Comfort for Our Māmā
Kopakopa is a beautiful gift from the whenua a complete, natural medicine chest wrapped up in a single leaf. It holds a deep, gentle power to soothe, cool, and repair, bringing balance and comfort back to your body during this special time.

For our māmā whether you are nurturing a pēpi at your breast for the very first time or finding your way through it again Kopakopa is a true blessing. It brings deep, cooling relief to tender, cracked ni***es, helping to soothe the irritation and speed up the skin's natural healing so you can focus on connecting with your pēpi.

For the Skin and Tinana (Body)
It brings instant comfort wherever the body is tired, stretched, or hurting. It draws the sting out of bites, cools down angry rashes or eczema, and wraps a protective layer around wounds, swelling, and sprains.

For the Breath and Throat
Kopakopa is deeply comforting for the delicate pathways of the mouth, throat, and chest. It softens hard coughs, eases sore, dry throats, and helps clear the lungs when chest bugs take hold.

For Internal Balance
On the inside, it works as a gentle regulator. It settles the stomach and digestion, and brings cooling, calming relief to bladder discomfort, the kidneys, and the liver.

Wherever there is heat, soreness, or irritation, Kopakopa settles the system and helps restore your natural peace
