Achilles Waikato Whanau just love Kirikiriroa Marathon, Hamilton so this morning while some of our Athletes and guides were on the startline others were helping out marshalling at the start finish area plus helping out with drinks to make sure all runners had a fantastic hydrated day...

Another awesome Sunday and a good turnout of happy faces for a walk, jog run or jiggle joggle around the jewel in the centre of Hamilton, our sparkling Lake.
Really good to see Ocean and Craig back at training as they build up for Taupo Marathon weekend in early August.
Who is going to join them ??

Just a reminder that Sunday training is still going ahead.
There is currently mainly fine but a chance of shower, but as the lake is a safe environment there are no plans to cancel.
We encourage everyone to arrive before our 8:30am start time so we can get underway smoothly

Our Marathon champion Theresa has just got back from the London Marathon, let's hope she brings her latest finishers medal along...

Congratulations Yoke Fong for reaching 50 volunteers today! This includes 35 times being a VI Guide.

Just a quick reminder: This Sunday is our football have a go day, open to all athletes. Come along, have a go, or pick up some fresh baking, sausage sizzle or raffle tickets while learning more about our club.

FANTASTIC FARM FunD Raiser./
A special event for a special cause.
All funds raised go directly to Achilles Waikato and
Special Olympics Tauranga.
This is a fund raiser not a race (its all about fun on the farm)
There is a 5km and 10km course over a working dairy farm so good hills with the occassional cow pat to skid in and bit of mud to run through or around,
The event will be on what ever the weather a great opportunity to get out and run or walk in the country.
Numbers will be limited so get in quick, grab a mate and get your entry in,
No dogs,push chairs, strollers or earphones..
Entry fee 5k $30.00 10k $40.00.
