Acne is one of the most common skin concerns I see, but there’s also a lot of misinformation about what actually causes it and how to treat it.

Here are some acne facts that might surprise you:

✔️ Acne is an inflammatory condition, not just a “dirty skin” problem.
✔️ Oily skin can still be dehydrated.
✔️ Hormones, stress, sleep, and lifestyle can all play a role.
✔️ Different types of acne require different treatment approaches.
✔️ Picking and popping can often cause more long-term damage than the breakout itself.
✔️ Consistency with the right skincare routine will almost always outperform harsh, aggressive treatments.

The good news? Acne is treatable. The key is understanding what’s driving your breakouts and creating a plan that supports your skin barrier while targeting the underlying cause.

If you’re struggling with acne, don’t be discouraged by what works for someone else. Every skin journey is different, and a personalised approach often makes all the difference. 💙

Hyperpigmentation and melasma are often mistaken for the same thing, but they have very different causes and treatment approaches.

▫️ Hyperpigmentation is usually triggered by inflammation or injury to the skin, such as acne, eczema, burns, or sun damage. The good news? It often responds well to targeted skincare and professional treatments.

▫️ Melasma is a more complex pigmentation condition, often driven by hormones and worsened by sun exposure and heat. It commonly appears as symmetrical patches on the cheeks, forehead, and upper lip and can be more challenging to manage long-term.

One of the biggest mistakes I see is treating melasma the same way as post-inflammatory pigmentation. What works for one may not work for the other — and in some cases can even make it worse.

No matter the cause, daily SPF is your most important skincare product when it comes to preventing and managing pigmentation. ☀️

If you’re struggling with dark spots, uneven skin tone, or pigmentation that keeps returning, understanding the cause is the first step towards choosing the right treatment plan.

Not sure whether you’re dealing with hyperpigmentation or melasma?
Book in for a complimentary consultation and let’s assess your skin together. We can discuss the cause of your pigmentation, your skincare routine, and the treatment options best suited to your skin and goals.

If there’s one skincare ingredient that does a little bit of everything… it’s Niacinamide ✨

Also known as Vitamin B3, niacinamide is loved for its ability to support healthier, stronger, calmer skin — making it one of the most versatile ingredients in skincare.

Benefits of niacinamide include:
• Helping regulate oil production
• Brightening uneven skin tone & pigmentation
• Supporting the skin barrier
• Reducing redness & inflammation
• Softening the appearance of pores and fine lines
• Protecting against environmental stress

It’s also incredibly well tolerated, making it a great option for sensitive, acne-prone or compromised skin.

Sometimes the best skincare ingredients aren’t the harshest — they’re the ones quietly strengthening your skin over time 🤍

Wrinkle relaxers aren’t about looking frozen or “different” — they’re about softening movement in the areas where lines form most, while still looking like you 💕

Treatments such as Xeomin® work by relaxing targeted facial muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles like:
• Frown lines
• Forehead lines
• Crow’s feet

The result? A fresher, smoother appearance while maintaining natural expression and movement.

One of the things I love most about Xeomin® is its highly purified formulation, designed without unnecessary accessory proteins while still delivering beautiful, refined results.

Subtle. Preventative. Personalised. 💉

If you’ve been curious about wrinkle relaxers and want to learn more, free consultations are available to discuss the best approach for you.

▫️ Before & After - Belkyra ▫️

Belkyra works by gradually breaking down stubborn fat under the chin, helping to create a more defined jawline and smoother profile — without surgery.

Results develop progressively over a series of treatments as the body naturally clears the treated fat cells.

One of the things I love most about Belkyra is how subtle but confidence-changing the results can be — refreshed, not obvious.

If you’ve ever found yourself avoiding side-profile photos or noticing fullness in this area, this may be a great option to consider 💉

Consultations available to see if you’re a suitable candidate.

Mono threads are one of my favourite treatments for natural collagen support 🙌

These fine, dissolvable threads sit just under the skin to help stimulate your body’s own collagen production — improving skin quality from within.

They’re ideal for:
• Softening fine lines
• Supporting early skin laxity
• Improving texture and firmness
• Strengthening delicate areas like the neck and lower face
• Preventative ageing support

Mono threads don’t “pull” the skin like lifting threads — instead they work gradually to strengthen, thicken and refresh the skin over time, making them perfect for subtle, natural-looking results.

Suitable for face, neck and selected body areas.

If you’re starting to notice changes in skin firmness and want something regenerative rather than volumising, mono threads can be a beautiful option 💉✨

One of the most common questions I get is:
“How long before my skincare starts working?”

The answer depends on the ingredient — and patience really does matter when it comes to skin.

Here’s what you can expect:

▫️Hyaluronic acid → hydration straight away

▫️Vitamin C → brighter skin in about 3+ weeks

▫️Niacinamide → tone + pores improve around 4–12 weeks

▫️AHAs → smoother texture quickly, best results by 12 weeks

▫️BHAs → clearer pores quickly, best results by 12 weeks

▫️Retinol → collagen + fine lines improve over 3–6 months

Consistency is what makes the difference. Most skincare isn’t instant — it’s progressive.
