First and foremost, all glory and thanks to God for His perfect timing — holding back the rain just long enough for us to serve our community, and then sending it down right as we packed up. His timing is always spot on! 🌤️

In Latin, community comes from communitas, meaning “fellowship” or “public spirit” — and that’s exactly what we witnessed today. ❤️

To the touch rugby teams that entered and played their hearts out — fa’afetai tele lava! The passion, sportsmanship, and pride you showed out on that turf brought such amazing energy. Each game was full of laughter, competition, and respect — everything we hoped this day would represent. Having you there truly made the event one to remember, and we’re grateful for the way you all embraced the spirit of Tautua Without Toxins💛

A massive shoutout to our sponsors and supporters — your generosity turned this vision into reality. From providing resources, and prizes, to lending your time and equipment, your contributions made the day run smoothly and ensured our community could enjoy every moment. We couldn’t have done this without you, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 🙏🏽

A big thank-you as well to our aiga who prepared and served lunch — the meals were absolutely beautiful and kept everyone fueled throughout the day and possibly bloated 😉. You filled not just our stomachs but our spirits too. 🍛💖

To our referees, you were absolute legends, you went above and beyond, and we applaud your dedication👏🏽

To all the parents who got out there and joined in the games — we hope you’re not too sore tomorrow 😁. And I hope your tummies are as full as our hearts are right now... I still think we should’ve cooked a bit more food 🤣🤔

And last but definitely not least, to our brothers and sisters who just jumped in to help — setting up, cleaning, guiding people, doing the little things without being asked — that’s what community looks like. ❤️

🚨 We urgently need a team for our touch tournament tomorrow! 1 spot available. You must have a minimum of 10 players, 2 of them MUST be females. Tomorrow is our touch tournament! 🏉 Come down for some fun!! we have our confirmed teams competing for cash 💸 prizes of $1000 for 1st place, $700 for 2nd place and $500 for 3rd place... Yes! we've increased the amount of the cash prizes for the 2nd and 3rd place winners 🥳 we'll also be having some fun games in between for the adults and children to win some spot prizes/vouchers 😉 there'll be a bouncy castle, face painting, balloons and other fun activities for the kids too, we'll have something for everyone! and don't worry about packing lunch, we got chu! free food provided 😊 how good?! 😮‍💨 See ya'll tomorrow at our touch tourney! 9.15am kick off.
