Some days you'll feel like you've got this. Other days you'll feel like you're starting from scratch.

Both belong.

When you're recovering from something hard, a setback, an injury, a stressful stretch of life, it's tempting to think there's a right way to feel. That once you're better, you stay better. But that isn't how bodies or minds actually work.

You can be healing and struggling at the same time. You can have made real progress and still have a day that knocks you flat. None of that means you've gone backwards.

Be kind to yourself in the in-between.

The grace you give yourself on the hard days is part of how you keep going.

Let me introduce Live Well's new look!

A refined name and brand that reflects the full scope of what I do, and after five years, a brand that finally feels like me. I'd outgrown what Live Well looked like in the world. I wanted something more reflective of what I practice, and what I preach. I wanted you to feel it too. The slower pace, the sense that taking care of yourself doesn't have to be overwhelming. That you are supported.

The whole feeling is designed to mirror the sense of vitality I hope for you moving toward. My values haven't shifted. 

You may have noticed I’ve been quieter on here, partly due to the rebrand but I’ve also been reflecting on how I want to show up on here moving forward. I’ll be honest, I've felt extremely burnt out with having to produce content, because I value living life to the fullest, not through a screen. I’ve also fought an internal battle between “the algorithm” and what I truely value and want to share and sticking to the vision.

I've taken some time to figure out how I can still show on here with intended value and enjoyment as ultimately I want to connect with you, but also respect my time, and not burn myself out in the process.

I do enjoy writing long form content so do meet me over on my blog if you feel the call.

Moving forward this is a platform I’ll use with intention. To share information, engage with you and share my offerings with you and sell my work to you or others, as its great work.

Saturday, 27th June. One whole day, just for you.

A Slow Day Offline. Phones away, and a full day tucked into the peaceful hills of Whakamarama, just 20 minutes from Tauranga. You'll head home with a fuller cup.

The day starts gently. Slow flow yoga and meditation to ease into the morning. A nourishing breakfast and slow conversation. Then a women's wellbeing workshop where you'll have time to journal and actually think (when was the last time you had space for that?). A full body pilates session in the afternoon. Lunch in the middle. And then the unstructured part of the day, which might just be the best part: sauna, spa, plunge pool, time to walk, time to lie by the fire with a book, time to do absolutely nothing.

The day winds down with yoga nidra to leave you feeling deeply rested before you head back into the world.

For the women who haven't had a day like this in a long time. For the ones running a little on empty.

Movement is one of the foundations of genuine wellbeing because your body needs to move, and it feels better when it does.

There's a difference between wellness and wellbeing that I don't think gets talked about enough.

Wellness, the version the industry sells us, is largely external. The routines, the supplements, the endless content telling you to cut this, add that, track this. It's a product. And a lot of the time, it's overwhelming by design.

Wellbeing is the texture of your actual days. How rested you are. Whether you're eating in a way that genuinely supports your body. How your nervous system is doing. It's not a routine you follow. It's a relationship you have with yourself.

If you've been doing all the right things and still not feeling right, that's not a personal failing. The noise is loud, and navigating it without a clear filter is exhausting.

The foundations are simpler than the industry wants you to believe. Food. Sleep. Stress management. Movement. Rest. Connection.

That's where real health lives!
