Koa ripped her nasal tube out so immediately had to take a snap of that gorgeous smile 😚 currently waiting to hear back from Starship Foundation for Koa’s theatre date ❤️🤞🏽

It was the absolute cherry on top to meet All Blacks legend Sam Whitleock and his whānau, just before we were officially discharged 🤩 Got to meet his family and talk to him a bit about our warrior princess Koa 😌 ONE month straight in hospital, have a couple weeks to chill, rest and reset then back to Starship in the new year. Merry Christmas to you all and thank you all who have supported our whānau in one way or another.. truly takes a tribe 🙏🏽

Koa had the honour of being one of the first to hear one of the next books from the Henry Houdini - Children’s Picture Book series. Read personally from the one and only author Angi Pierce. Koa responded with a few giggles so it was clear Koa gives it the thumbs up 👍 we’re trying to get the paediatric ward here to jump on and purchase a few for the ward ❤️ Angi also crocheted this beautiful puti puti blanket with her too 🌻🪻🌷

Walked into the hospital cafe this morning and one of the beautiful staff members Danielle made up a bag of Kai from their mahi for me 🥹 just after another lady had just paid for my morning tea bc my payWave wasnt working 🥲 was trying so hard not to be a sooky lala and cry lol. Koa is so favored and loved. Thank you Dani x

3rd xray down here, meeting with the doctors soon to see if Koa stabilised her blood sugars with the new placement of NG tube 🙏🏽 everyone knows Koa as the cute courageous bubba 😁

Koa managed to rip her NG tube out yet again 😆 so another fresh one has been inserted. The doctors are hopeful her blood sugars are playing up because of the previous positioning of NG tube.. now it’s a waiting game to see if those blood sugars stabilise and to see if their theory is correct 🙏🏽 I’m grateful to see a bit of rain today, I find it difficult to rest when it’s sunny outside but movies in bed is just what the doctor ordered 🌧️
