💕🪽TOHU O TE RA ~ DIVINE MESSAGE OF THE DAY💕🪽
🪶FREEDOM 🪶INTERGENERATIONAL HEALING 🪶 CREATIVITY 🪶JOY 🪶INSPIRATION
Yesterday we had the utmost privilege of doing a reading for a powerful and trailblazing wahine via video call. When we looked at her chart, there was a big pull to connect with her ā kanohi (face to face) and something ancient stirred as her reading was channeled. During the reading, the message about tending to the inner child came up.
Oftentimes, when we have had to grow up too fast, our innocence and intuition can be thwarted by responsibility, pressure and the seriousness of this human world. I'm so glad this card was pulled for the collective today so we can share some matauranga (knowledge) that was taught to us, in particular by tohunga Awhitia Mihaere and our tuakana Tama and Kristy.
When we embarked deeper on our rongoa (healing) journey three years ago, we were taught that one of the main objectives of this spiritual warfare was that we needed to shift from the patriarchal order, to a child centric society. Waahine ki mua (women leading) is the way that we achieve this.
In Te Reo Māori (the Māori language), when we look at the word tama/ ariki, it gives us the biggest clue as to the role our children should play in this world. TAMA = SON. ARIKI = LORD.
An interpretation from our perspective is that children are the Sun of IO. They are the essence of God/ Universe/ Creator in its purest form. Children have recently descended from the veil, and thus, they carry with them the light of the Highest. Children live in the present. They live in their truth. They are full of wonder and creativity. They are forgiving, and they give with no expectation. They are unconditionally loving. There are so many lessons that we can learn from children about how to balance our inner spiritual world. They are truly our greatest teachers and those of us who are privileged to be parents and guides to children have spiritual masters right in front of us within our homes. Ready to teach us how to heal our trauma and that of our ancestors if we listen and observe closely enough.
When we have endured childhood and cyclical trauma through abandonment, neglect and abuse, we can not only find it hard to show up for the children in our lives, but most importantly, our own inner child whose mana (spiritual power) was diminished at the hands of those chosen to guide and protect us.
In order for us to reconnect to the divinity inside of us, we must first truly understand the inner child that was left broken-hearted, lonely, confused. She never grew up. She's still there inside of us. Begging to be understood, to find joy, to express her emotions, to be safe.
This card is governed by Archangel Metatron who is the conduit between the Heavens and the Earth. They are the patron Angel of children. Known as one of the mightiest angels and “The Heavenly Scribe”, Archangel Metatron keeps a record of our deeds on Earth and can be called upon when we need help with releasing.
