Saturday night was a very special night for our family and for everyone at Isles Construction.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Bob Isles has been awarded Life Membership of the Registered Master Builders Manawatū Branch.

In almost 100 years of the Manawatū branch, Bob is just the 16th person to receive this recognition. It's a fitting tribute to someone who has dedicated more than 50 years to the building industry, not only through exceptional craftsmanship but through his commitment to developing others and giving back to the community.

From founding Isles Construction in 1974, serving on the Master Builders executive, training around 300 apprentices, helping establish a scholarship programme that has raised more than $600,000 for further education, and continuing to volunteer his time teaching carpentry skills well into his 80s, Bob's contribution to our industry has been extraordinary.

Those of us fortunate enough to have worked alongside him know that his greatest legacy isn't just the buildings he's helped create—it's the people he has mentored over the decades.

Congratulations Bob and Desma. This recognition is richly deserved, and we couldn't be prouder.
