🌸 New baby? Come and find your village.

The fourth trimester is beautiful, exhausting, overwhelming, hilarious… and sometimes all of those things before 9am. 😂🤍

This Thursday, we’re bringing parents and pēpi together for a relaxed morning of connection, conversation and (very importantly) yummy morning tea. ☕️

Come along to meet other parents in the same season, make some new friends, share the joys and challenges of these early months, and learn a little more about what’s normal and where to find support when you need it.

There’s no pressure and no need to have it all together — feeding, crying, sleeping, not sleeping, or arriving late because getting out the door with a baby deserves its own medal. 🏅😂

🎓🌸 From Health Care Assistant to Nurse! 🌸🎓

We are so incredibly proud of our recent graduate, Kaitlin, who has officially graduated as a nurse! 🩺✨

Kaitlin began her journey with us at Helensville Birthing Centre as a Health Care Assistant, and from the very beginning she has been such a valued part of our HBC whānau. Caring, kind, reliable and always willing to lend a hand, Kaitlin brought so much warmth to the whānau and team around her.

It has been so special watching her work towards this next chapter, and we know she will bring those same wonderful qualities to her nursing career.

Congratulations, Kaitlin — what an amazing achievement! We wish you every success and happiness as you begin your next adventure as a Registered Nurse. 💕🩺

We’ve been keeping a pretty exciting secret… and we can FINALLY share it! 🧡

Helensville Birthing Centre has been selected for Z’s Good in the Hood 2026!

And this one feels pretty special. 🥹

From more than 500 applications, our little not-for-profit birthing centre in rural Helensville was chosen to be part of this incredible initiative through Z Kumeū!

To have the mahi of our team and the support we provide to whānau across our community recognised in this way is something we are SO incredibly proud and honoured by.

But now… WE NEED YOU! 🙌🧡

From 18 August, when you’re at Z Kumeū, grab your token and pop it in the Helensville Birthing Centre box! Every token counts and helps us make the absolute most of this amazing opportunity.

And we want to SEE IT! 📸 Send us your photos — you with your token, the kids, your work crew, and especially our HBC pēpi and HBC whānau doing their bit! 🥹🧡 Tag us and we’ll share them!
